@@yrh002b8 You're mad cuz Max doesn't like your dogshit game. This game is trash. The man has been around long enough to know when a game has been stripped down of its features/gameplay. There is a reason why he likes Alpha 2 and Third Strike the most: Besides being 2 of the most celebrated fighting games, they also have amazing gameplay and mechanics.
@@xWagnerPlaguesx lol, never said I like SFV. Just saying he don't. Do people here even read anymore. It's not wrong to say SFV is not his favorite. That don't make me wrong or him. Why you people are so offended. I'm just telling you guys what Max said. SFV is not his favorite but he still has fun with it. Anyway, had to delete my comment because you guys are taking me as a hater when all I said was Max will dan but SFV is not his favorite. Glad to know Max has toxic fan.
"Or he could just go to Fortnite" 😂 I could totally see Dan hopping on every popular trend. "Thanks everyone for coming to the Saikyo dojo. Before we get started I just want to give a shout out to my friends at Raid: Shadow Legends"
He good at entertainment But i think he can be UFC Champion too even Kabib Etc. cant do anything to him except some other characters appear in UFC too like alex
What if we made a non joke dan. He likes to taunt. Give him a cross-counter where he ads a fucking corkscrew. He'll call this the saikyo counter He's no good with ki so give him nimble boxing with some karate strikes for power. A corkscrew. Maybe a mentor who knows how to teach dan. His back throw is a suplex. Normal throw stays is like the original only it's a corkscrew to the body. He can switch between a muythai stance and a stance where he has his hands down like prince nasseem where he's faster with weaker strikes
@@thatdumbass9856 I actually have an idea for his gadoken then, Knowing Dan even if he becomes a better fighter, he will still use moves like the gadoken, But this time he takes some time to think about its actual application, I think Dan will use the gadoken only at close range, I also had an idea where he infuses his hands with the gadoken, this will function as a temporary buff to his strikes as they now count as two strikes pp (per punch) it will however only work for a single punch, but the buff is very quick (something like 6 or 8 frames or something) so it isn't good for long combos, but if you have some breathing room you can quickly apply the buff and then forget about it, it's a weird idea but it's something
@@phobia_master-lord_of_early he seems to have forgiven Sagat. Maybe that's where he learns better muythai. Plus Sagat and Dan being buddies sounds fun.
@@thatdumbass9856 wow even after a year ur willing to talk? That makes me happy. Anyhow, yeah that does sound great, I think Dan will primarily improve his attitude once he realizes Sagat isn't a bad guy anymore, which considering Dan would be a major improvement on his combat effectiveness, Maybe he even learns something from Blanka, I mean he is already Dan's friend it doesn't sound to unbelievable
dan for smash. no think about it: the trailer is hyping up akuma to be the next fighter, about to outdo sephiroth... only for at the last minute he slips and falls on a banana peel tossed by dan. dan would be revealed as the first fighter in fighters pass 3. with akuma being the last fighter for 2.
I mean, Dan might be a shoe-in for smash just because he's one of, if not THE most well known parody in gaming. Side note: If he got in as the last character, because of the nature of DLC characters, he might be somewhat balanced and may help the game to avoid the Bayonetta Curse of Sm4sh.
And equipping Dan results in starting every match with a 30% health depletion (something usually only reserved for some of the strongest spirits), despite the fact that most of Dan's appearances have him start with the same amount of stamina as Ryu.
I just wanted to comment on that. Honestly, he has so many actually cool moves, he doesn't feel like joke character anymore Well, he does, but... His V-skill is a parry. And his critical art is a flurry of blows
@@lucaswibisono1316 Nope, that's Johnny Yong Bosch, he voiced Zero in Marvel 3, Ichigo, Yang in SF4 and DBS Broly in Dragon ball Fighterz, among other roles.
@@katf9513 He's overly energetic. Very lost in his own world trying to get somewhere and kinda just glazes over normal interactions haha. He's harmless though.
@Drake Barnes In one of the comics Dan actually does some good daily actions. He delivers newspapers (he sucks at it, though), help old women, children, and even the police by telling prisoners not to kill each other. Source: Super Street Fighter vol.2 In both games and comics he also doesn't kill Sagat. In the games it is because Sagat lost on purpose and in the comics he allowed Dan to do the finishing blow but Dan spared him, saying it won't bring his father back source: Street Fighter Unlimited 8 and Street Fighter alpha 2
I kinda like how, as its gone along, the Story Modes have kind of leaned in on how absurd the rushed art looks. And for characters like Dan it kinda works.
Can we talk about how Sakura was able to lend money for Dan to fly all the way to Brazil?! Like dang girl, she’s really ballin in the arcade business and doing well for herself! Good on her. Makes me wonder if she enters in game tournaments.
He certainly got lots of love to make him appear badass, but slightly above his weight class. Those little details like shaking his hand after heavy attack and flexing his shoulder after Koryuken show that he is going in hard and it strains him.
Man, Sakura's story really is the best. Not just because of the thirst aspect, but it touches on some genuinely relatable shit. You know-about growing up, having responsibilities, not being able to do the things with your friends that you use to do when you were young high schoolers. Needless to say, it ended up touching me way more than I was prepared for.
Meh... Still would have loved if she actually learned to let go of her love for Ryu. It was kinda cute in previous games where she was younger, but as a young adult? It comes off as really forced and childish.
@@aleflippy1997 I am failing to see how it comes off as childish, considering many young females who have crushes on guys, tend to keep those crushes for well in to their 20s. In fact, the feelings might become even deeper.
@@Gailardia_Galan doesn't change the fact it hinders her character development. It would actually have been a great sign of newfound maturity if she learned to accept that Ryu would never be hers. As for "many women", that doesn't mean shit if you got nothing to back up your claim. What does "many women" means?
Ah I see you guys haven't seen Dan's Infinite Combo this season ^_^ We didn't receive a joke character, believe it or not, this is the era of *Dark Gado* and Shin Dan has awoken...
It's usually the case that SF characters are winning side tournaments frequently. Ironically the ones with the worst records are the super scary lethal fighters like Akuma who raging demons for breakfast, yet can't seem to kill anyone permanently.
Not only that, given the fact it references his story from SF4 where he makes an unsuccessful TV commercial immediately after the tourney mention, it kinda implies Dan’s the canonical winner of the SIN tournament which is just a WILD feat for him if true
@@sheikhu1039 Max’s friend. Matt. Everyone calls him by his last name, Simmons. He’s always on the “Yo Videogames” channel with Max’s other friends Steve and Kenny.
@@SuperPeterok Depends on your taste. Sf5 is the better buy if you go for the champion edition. Sf4 is good if you just wanna play for nostalgia purposes.
Dan's VA has got the right level of enthusiasm, but I kinda feel like Dan should sound a lot more like Patrick Warburton. Just that whole kinda pumped up tough guy who's actually a total goober vibe.
Damn props to Sakura for having enough money to loan Dan a plane ticket to friggin Brazil. Also LOVED the SF2 map/plane ride throwback! :D OH! On another note, if you play through Dan's SFV arcade mode (He fights G at the end) he imagines himself training a bunch of the major fighters (complete with pink Saikyo Gi. lul) and if you look waaaay over to the upper left you see someone who looks suspiciously like Fei Long....bets on him being the last character? :D
Dan has a lot of stuff, heck, he even has a special perfect round win pose (as long as that round is not the decisive one for him of course). EDIT: Gotta love how Blanka let Max perform the super taunt, and somehow it... fitted well because Dan and Blanka are friends?!... pure gold.
Pretty awesome. They really seemed to have nailed him overall and clearly had a lot of fun making him. Also they totally took the teabag into taunt from TFH. ;D
Seeing all these cool moves and knowing I just don't have the dexterity to work the analogue for them always brings a tear to my eye. Something about the latest SF5 content has just made me realise how much I'm missing!
Watching Max do all of Dan’s combos with such ease makes me wish I understood how to do combos in SFV more. I’m so used to the way combos work in Mortal Kombat and Injustice that the way SF’s combos work seems foreign to me.
this was nice I like his combo's, it was nice to see my girl Sakura in his story, and his theme has never sounded better I haven't been this impressed with a theme since G's theme I'm going to pick it up first chance I get
