Jeff LaCasse is a stand-up guy… I hope he’s found a woman who is worthy of him. He dodged a big bullet when he got away from Wendi Adelson (figuratively and perhaps literally).

As an attorney, how could Wendi possibly have given even a modicum of credence to the notion that the grandparents possessed any legal authority whatsoever to place the boys in foster care? Wendi is the mother and she has full custody. She had absolutely no reason to fear that the Markels would, or could, place her children in foster care. They’ve had to move heaven and earth to even visit with the grandchildren. In any event, attempting to employ logic with a sociopath is an exercise in futility.

I was embarrassed for June and the way she kept glancing toward Charlie! Almost like a spineless little puppy dog!

Praying that the jurors use simple logic and common sense in their deliberations. Anyone should be able to see right through Wendi’s lies. As much as she attempts to directly and truthfully answer the questions, her narcissism and arrogance gets in the way and it seems obvious to me but I hope the jurors see it as well. After Chuckie goes down, Wendi and Donna will be the grand finalé. 🙏🏽

It seems that Charlie HAS to take the stand, and testify as to the blackmail scheme he claims Katie waged against him, right? But if he does, he has to undergo cross-examination, right? Charlie's an overconfident guy who thinks he's got all the bases covered. You could hear that in the audible portion of the La Dolce Vita recording, and in some of the wiretaps. I think these prosecutors will eat him up . . . and stunningly.

You can definitely tell that when June gave her first deposition that Georgia keeps referring back to was during the time where she had just broken up with Charlie and she was telling the whole truth then . Now, she said that she and Charlie have spoken right before the time he went to jail in 2022 and even though Charlie’s lawyer denies it, I suspect that either his Lawyer or Charlie, probably both have spoken to her and is why Georgia started her testimony with June by asking her if she still has feelings for Charlie right now and June said yes! Which is why June’s testimony has changed so much from the deposition. She is the most ditzy, clueless person I have seen. She even got lost in the courthouse, which is why everyone was waiting for her and why the Judge asked her if she had a nice tour of the courthouse. She responded, “I’ve been here two times before”, which means she didn’t even get the sarcasm from the Judge! 🤦🏾‍♀️

charlie seems to be having a great time! he laughs here, in court, charged for murder, more than I do on weekends.

I feel so sorry for both of Dan’s parents. I wish I were there to throw my arms around her. Such a sad situation. Dan was a great guy whose life was violently take at such a young age. He left behind his 2 small children-so sad for them as well

I think witness Luis Riviera just destroyed the Defenses theory. He's a convicted criminal but I really think the no nonsense attitude and answers are believable. The verdict will be guilty and he'll take the fall for the family. Who else can keep him in the $$ in prison? This whole thing has ruined SO many lives.
