I own this 1911 pistol. Super accurate. Made extremely well. Only weighs 29.5 oz, and I can carry it in a good holster, and a good stiff gunbelt, all day long.
I have that very 1911 in 45acp, I was just thinking about changing grips to g10 or vz grips operater cut. I was thinking about tan and black. Did you have to change your bushings. I wanted the thin grips. I appendix carry. About 3 yrs ago I paid $1299.00 out the door in NH.

I've got a colt 1911 competition series camr with adjustable Novak rear sights and fiber optic front sight. I am wondering if Colt is comparable to Dan Wesson. One thing I love about dan wesson is how light they are. My colt is heavy
Never seen a DW with a loose slide. You didn't show the slide to frame fit on the rear. My guns have some of the best fit possible. I have a Heritage, VBob, and ECO from DW. All are 100%
