Dave I run Suarez flat face trigger original patrol model on my Glock 17 and 19 with a ghost rocket 3.5. look at what he has they are worth a look especially with the np3 coating. The best trigger I have ever shot on a Glock
Here’s Dave doing a 5.50 el prez drill when he was a ripe 56 years old: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--4My1n4I2L8.htmlsi=kLmT_YG_bRWpdaEA
Been doing this for decades with a DA 357mag revolver and also a SA 45 Colt on playing cards. But this is nothing new. J. B. Hickok and John Wesley Hardin did this often in the latter part of the 19th century.
555BC drill. 5 Yards 5 Rounds 5 Seconds into a Business card. Line breaks count. it’s a technical skill drill that forces the shooter to pay attention to what is important to operate at a higher level. It’s something that can be done at most ranges. Even indoor ranges that require “no rapid fire”. When someone hands you a business card that you don’t need, they just gave you a free target. It only takes 5 rounds to check yourself. 1st work on hitting the target. Then work on efficiency. Don’t worry about the time just work your process. 5 Yards 5Rounds 5 Seconds Business Card full sheet 555 BC dog tag I been south is since 2022
GOOD JOB sir... thanks for your years... I'm 6'1" good sized mits but getting probably g43x for edc....I'm surprised at how decent I shoot it... but I follow your advice.... my girp is almost the same as when I hold my much bigger P226...anyway trying to accomplish the same good hold regardless of size difference.... scared me at 2.14 for a few seconds... .
Mr. Spaulding, I have been reading your articles and watching your videos for over 23 years now. You are a fountain of knowledge and what you teach is more then relevant. I’m so happy to see this video today. Keep them coming please!!
All the micro 9mm models that started with the Glock 43 and SW Shield size now have models to the grip size of the 43x. A full grip is essential for your defensive pistol fundamentals. Enjoy that well deserved retirement !
Dave, I have to be honest and admit I truly regret not taking a class from you! Just watching your videos has helped me be a better shooter, I can only imagine how much more training with you would have benefited me. Thanks for all the wisdom. Rick
Dave, do you still have that original Glocks 19 that you’ve shot thousands of rounds through? If I remember right, it was a Gen 1 or 2 that you had 20+ years ago. I still remember the articles that you wrote with that Glock 19. Way before the internet. That was your “Go To” firearm back in the day.
Sheild arms magazines are known to work. Untill they don't. Most don't have issues for awhile, than one day they start to fail. 5 rounds are not worth it. It's like trusting a pro mag.
