That Heart must have gotten bruised. People with alot of Heart don't normally just refuse to stand up and quit in the Middle of a fight. He popped up pretty damn quick after he quit, so it's not like it was an injury. Dude tried to say he should have been fighting Usman and acted like Lawler was beneath him. Usman would have killed him.
@@SpartanArmy117 I'm glad I'm not alone. A lot of people are praising this fight, but it WAS kind of garbage. I don't get it. I definitely want to see Nick fight again when he's had a full camp though.
Jon Jones: *triple homicide with premeditated murder* Dana: we will see how this plays out legally and go from there. This is just what Jon Jones does.
Dana: you know I dont make fights immediately after one of our fighters does a triple homicide, c'mon... He needs to rest, be with his family, heal up, and then we'll go from there.
@UCcKreLu4mLyOSptPiwRhScQ who cares…. Dana built a sport. That has to be respected. Anyone who’s anyone in the fight biz knows who Dana is and respects the hell out of him. He’s one of the most powerful people in all sports right now. The NFL is asking the UFC for advice! Dana deserves to walk around like a peacock! Don’t hate, imitate. It’s a lot more profitable.
As soon as the reporter said "Oscar said the fighters got underpaid for it", Dana licked his lips and pulled out the envelope. "We doing this now?" Absolute legend.
Gane made $400k+ off a reported 400k+ ppv event . Crawford will make 5 million and I bet it won’t hit 200k ppv (boxing) tell me how fighters are paid fairly ?? Lol
Also Pacquiao made $10 million off a 400k ppv buy against adrien broner (who made 2.5 million) both fighters also got ppv shares. Compare that to masvidal vs Usman 2, Usman made 750k base pay and a total of 1.5 millón after ppv shares and masvidal only made 800k and that event made 800k buys so please again tell me guys how ufc fighter main event talent is paid fairly
I’m dying at the part where Dana says “alright let’s start” and pulls all them receipts out😂 reminds me of the list of arguments he had against Oscar during the first take segment.
He is real it's refreshing to see a passionate person calling out the fakes. Yeah he is blunt but never caught lying. Now Eddie Hearn is in the US market golden boy will fail.
I don't know he started contradicting himself saying Fighters only fought once maybe three times when he only lets his Fighters fight three times a year and a lot of them want to fight more
It’s actually a really good thing to finally hear from Dana about this. I recall it being a big issue for a long time, but looking at how many people have benefited from the organization is beyond impressive. Can’t nobody deny that.
He knows Nick brings a lot of eyes. I'm pretty sure I heard his segment on the 'Countdown' series was double the views of both the main and co-main. I wonder was it just a 1 fight deal (because I know they don't usually do that) I think Diaz and Cowboy at welterweight makes sense.
@@brazenlilhussy5975 I love Nick, but it's like wrangling cats trying to do a fight. That's part of his charm, but it's gotta be hard when you're dealing with a guy that truly doesn't gaf like the Diaz brothers. I hope we get to see him again though, always a good time.
Dana has him ask the questions after Dana pays Bisping, Sonnen, and Cormier to write the narrative. Dana doesn't want truth;otherwise, Ariel would e there.
@@irieite9666 Silva toyed with his opponents way harder than MJ and got away with it repeatedly. I think Dana likes to fix fights to go his way sometimes
It’ll be a sad day when Dana is gone. He is why mma is at its height today. I freakin love this guy’s mindset, charisma, and hustle. Enjoy him while he is here
@Clown lmao imagine being so stupid as to conflate assertiveness with stupidity. There is no such thing as “alpha” male btw. Only egotistical end ignorant people uses that word to make them self feel better like your self, for example.
MMA fans need to recognize how Dana made the sport we love. He took a underground, banned sport and turned it into a worldwide legit business. You can't be a nice guy to do that.
Dana is actually the biggest star of the ufc lol I'm impressed. Always enjoy an interview with him. Glad to see him giving nick so much respect too. Finally lol
Dana……never lost a presser. I’ve been in leadership positions since I was 21 and I’m 43 years young. I’d work for this cat any day of the week. You would always know where you stand with him, and that’s a big part of being a great leader! Much love Dana!!
Man I'm so delighted to hear about the opportunities UFC is bringing to Mexico. Dana's wisdom and honesty about growing the sport and business is incredible to behold. Because of this man, the UFC will continue to be one of the most successful and reputable brands for decades to come! I hope other massive businesses learn from Dana's investments in presenting new opportunity to people of all nationalities. Mad respect for what he has accomplished from where he started. 📈👀💪
Jon beating up his wife in front of his children is not something 'he does in Vegas'. Domestic assault and violence doesn't work that way. It's chronic, and her statements showed evidence of this to anyone who knows domestic or patriarchal violence or who has experienced it.
exactly! and i am sick of hearing everyone talking about how he looked happy and healthy during the hall of fame event. Of course he is going to look happy cuz he is the abuser and he is getting his way. Abusers and narcissists always look happy and healthy. Its their victims who don't look happy...

More like Dana hold a grudge, they use to be friendly not that long ago. It literally happens because of a few comments. Oscar was trashing his cash cow conor's boxing match, and daddy Dana never let it go.
@@gilbertoflores7397 oscars a flat jackass tho haha im stil laughing at how stupid that dude was doing the commentary for that askren paul horrid ass ppv haha felt bad for him honestly. Something aint right with the guy
15:00 I’m with Dana. It’s not his fault some of these fighters try to live beyond their means. Look at Gsp and Anderson Silva. Never showboated with huge chains and Versace this etc. their still doing well because they know how to manage their money
It's not so much about managing your money as it is investing it wisely. As strange as it might seem, buying gold chains and diamond rings is a good investment if it appreciates in value quicker than inflation. And oh boy inflation is about to blow up.
@@waynzignordics yeah if you're buying pure gold with no artificially inflated diamonds + the service fee these scummy jewlers throw on top. You're an idiot lmao
He was a boxer growing up, he actually was one point literally gonna fight Tito ortiz in a mma fight. I believe it was Tito but it’s online if you look it up Dana Training for a fight
@@MarkyMag619 wasn't mma but just straight up boxing, prime tito would have sadly smashed dana in mma, but dana seemed fairly confident on battering tito in a boxing match. Would've been great if it happened regardless
Yes In my opinion Valentina won the 2nd fight. Dana white knows he has to have a trilogy but he’s trying to avoid it by letting it be up to them to decide. Clearly they are two top female fighters that are too humbled to want to call each other out for a 3rd fight so Dana is going to keep them in their own lane & winning is a double grab bag $$$ for him. But make no mistake these two women will simply stay beating up tomato cans until the general public gets sick of seeing it and white will be cornered & bombarded by media with no choice but to make the trilogy fight.
@@osio7528 The judges agreed with you. Curious if you feel the same way after watching TheWeasle's breakdown? Nunes gets R1, R3.. Valentina gets R2, R4.. and there is no way Nunes won the last round.

Well, nothing. Nothing would change. Sponsors would still want to be shown during nfl programs, and the world would be a little more sane. Dana has his flaws, but his ability to use his fk you money to say whatever he wants is beautiful.
@mm m he spoke about the companies other expenses in pursuit of growth. Compared to major sports leagues that already have that infrastructure built they do not pay as well, but we should look at those companies in their first 20 years.
Whining like a petulant child? That's what you're talking about? He compared De La Hoya's pay as if they are on the same level production wise. Dana will forever take the loss when everyone from fighters to promoters to fans and pundits all criticize fighter pay and all he can talk about is De La Hoya's "habits".
@@timterrell2554 No other organization in fighting in comparable to the UFC. This is because of the infrastructure created and still be laid by the UFC. So the fighters, pundits, and other promoters are not aware of the entire UFC business. An argument could be made to lessen the amount investors recieve but the main argument is 50/50, which doesn't make sense.
Gonna be a long time running the biz for dana, he really brought the organization from the soil up, much respect to what he'll leave behind regardless of where it goes.
I like this, Dana being a straight up attorney defending his case, love it. What he has done for fight fans is nothing less than a miracle. We get to enjoy great fights all year thanks to him. Thanks, appreciate ya.
@Red Anarxist you’re obviously clueless. MMA wasn’t around before him in all reality in a de facto sense. Yes there was cage fighting in mostly underground events but it was completely different. Dana has very much put MMA on the map over two decades of hard work. Go back to band practice ya fud.
Dana is such a true business man. He re-inventes the fight business every week for real. I was honored to meat him randomly in Vegas @Mizumi. He was very approchable and humble, amazing "Kid".
Yeah I never mentioned the fact about how he beat up his wife or excuse me fiance bloody in the front desk bleeding out of her mouth bloody shirt no mention of that oh it's just with John's does in Vegas b******* doesn't want to touch on that subject
Imagine what the sports of mma without Dana. Mma gyms worldwide are making a living. Mma media has jobs, I think that Dana created a sustainable source of income for thousands of people. I like how he refer to boxing events as closing out business. It’s so true. We can only hope there will be someone as good as him to take over when he is gone.

When taking all aspects of what happened in the Diaz/ Lawler fight, Nick still has the heart. He needs to stay disciplined to stay in shape. Thats all that he needs to do. He still has the better boxing than most and the bjj is still tip top. Nick Diaz is still the man!💪🏽👊🏽💪🏽👊🏽💥💯
I agree with Dana White with this. De La Hoya should not criticize Dana White Business when De La Hoya completely fail at promoting MMA. De La Hoya didnt pay his fighters and Jake Paul is the same. Jakr Paul said the fighters arent getting paid enough and then low ball Tommy Fury. Jake and De La Hoya say a lot things about pay, but when it comes down to it they pay way less than the UFC when they are in Dana White situation. Also the fighters dont need to fight in the UFC. They negotiate their pay and the fighters agree to it. Nobody is forcing the fighters to fight with that amount of money. If the fighters dont like the pay, quit fighting and go to medical school or law school. I'm pretty indifferent with Dana White, but Dana White 100% right about this.
With regards to the payment for fighters etc Dana did make a good argument at the end of the day fighters are private contractors which means they either gotta be good at negotiating or become so good as a fighter like alexander and get paid either or
