Personally I like Mitch tbh, no I’m not saying the stuff he does is justifiable… in the slightest. However, I do like him for being a more asshole Leon essentially, having his moments near the end to show he isn’t just a bad person but still not being an okay person either. Hitting on Akane, overall being a douchebag during the game and being more unredeemable as a character makes him more interesting in my eyes.
I mean he does change after spending time with his classmates as seen in Chapter zero, erasing his memories made him turn back into that douchebag we know. It's funny how a meme he became in the SDRA2/DRA community.
I think Danganronpa Another has a mix of very bland and very strong characters, and I agree with a lot of this list! I’m a bit more lenient on Kinjo’s more outlandish changes, especially Chapter 4, where in my opinion he’s pushed to breaking point both by hunger and having his beliefs thrown into question by Uehara’s actions in the previous chapter (I agree about his chapter 6 sudden turnaround though - too out of nowhere and undoes too much of his previous development without justification). I also like Haru and Satsuki a lot, but honestly that’s just because I find them fun haha. Super Danganronpa Another 2 definitely has way better characters, and all of them are memorable and feel like they have purpose - some of the characters in this game felt a bit like they were just there to fill out the cast. I hope you enjoy sdra2 once you get to it - in my opinion it’s a big step up from this one. That said I do really like this fangan and its cast :)
kizuna is often hated because of the things she does (in chp. 2 and ftes) but she is so so so so interesting. trying to tell the difference between where she is putting up a facade and telling the truth and how she has like no friends just people who hang around her and stuff, i’m not good at describing it. hate her, love to analyze her.
also one thing i find interesting is that i’ve heard quite a few people say “sdra2 has a better plot but dra has better characters” and i honestly agree with that but when i look at lists like this of the dra characters and truly think about it, i have no idea why i believe that

You think? Cause I watched almost everyone's FTE except I haven't finished Kakeru's, but Inori and Maki are still kinda bland for me. I like Maki, but she really is just there and Inori is just too nice and wanna heal people (not that interesting). I do feel like some FTE are great, but some characters still are very bland.
I can see some possible storylines being: Inori struggling in between her talent as a doctor and her trust eith her friends. Should she trust them or trust her knowledge as a doctor? I can also see Kakeru using his skills to use not only in the trials but in the investigations. He starts off trusting others but slowly doesn't.
Warning: Danganronpa Another 1 Spoilers: Honestly, from what I've seen, Kizuna in top tier is a hot take, but she is an interesting character in her own right, even if she doesn't last long. I also agree with Haruhiko's faults being played up a bit too much at certain times just for fan service and/or laughs, like the scene of spying on the girls in chapter 2, and hitting on girls in the chapter 6 flashback. Fortunately he has some redeeming qualities, because otherwise I think he would probably be pretty hated. Maybe not on the same level of Hifumi or Teruteru, but he probably wouldn't be a very popular character. Even though I like Kinji, I admit that his trial is arguably the worst one in this game. Honestly, none of the culprits in this game are super hard to figure out in my opinion, aside from maybe Ayame, but Kinji's plan just didn't make much sense in general. It's unfortunate that an otherwise good character was brought down by a lackluster trial. It's not like this is the first time that this has happened, I'd argue Celeste is in a similar position to Kinji in this regard, but still, unfortunate. Even if there are a couple of characters that I would personally move, I respect the tier list. Ultimately, a lot of characters don't have enough of a presence in the game or don't do enough for me to really care much about them(cough cough Kakeru and Kanata cough cough), but I don't think this game has any objectively bad characters. Some of them were just misused. But these are all just my opinions at the end of the day.
I’ll be honest , I think if you played/watched the free time events some of your placements would change (particularly kizuna , but i won’t spoil em). And I gotta say I agree with your opinions on Haru. Chapter 4 is my favorite in the game because of the emotional aspects , and I think he was really good in that chapter , but he was worsened by taking on the pervert role so they could shove in fan service. Anyway only placements I would change a lot are kizuna and Satsuki , otherwise it’s nice to see another fan of the fan (:
Honestly I wouldn't blame a priest for not knowing how to kill without getting caught xdd personally I've always found ch3's crime interesting because of that, but maybe it's only me. Other that that, I liked your tier list, kind of different from mine, but it was cool nonetheless
i found the opinions in this very insightful! honestly, haru is my favourite, but i do agree with your takes on the pervy parts of his character being a letdown. personally i just liked how developed he felt compared to alot of the other characters, starting with feeling guilty and the cause of kiyokas death all the way in chapter one, to his distrusting of meada in chapter 3 and his relationship with satsuki in chapter 4. i also really enjoyed his ongoing conflict with teruya throughout the game. it never felt out of nowhere and i like how it was present throughout multiple chapters, instead of serving one purpose. he had a lasting impact even when dead along with other characters which i liked too, as i feel its realistic and something that didnt happen really much in the cannon games. i am a sucker for tragedy and romance tho, so that may influence my thoughts towards him alot. chapter 4 was also my favourite chapter due to the motive and how impactful it was on all the characters. their conflict and desperation was brilliant, and i could feel the despair of the characters especially then (kinjo and teruya i felt especially benefited here). moving on from my defense of haru, i felt that 3/4 of the characters in this game were really strong and enjoyable, the underdeveloped ones being a fit of a let down but not enough to make the game dislikeble. i feel most worked really well within the plot, and the characters for me were the best part of the game. ive seen another comment and ill say it here again, but i feel like sdra2 had the better plot but dra had the better characters. i did enjoy the development of teruya in the second game though, but i wont talk aboit that here much. anyways, ill finish by saying my favourite characters were haru, uehara kinjo, rei, teruya and satsuki. great video i enjoyed hearing your explanations alot!
I like your tierlist the way you analize the fangame is really entartaining, I guess when you first play the game some characters are very bland, that you dont really feel attached to them unless you play their freetimes I agree with Mikako and Rei in Favorites, if Akane was up there too it would be the same .Im suprised about Kizuna in the top tier tho... I guess her freetime events just make her a worse person lol the same goes for Mitch
Pretty solid list although I would put rei in enjoyable tier instead, she was incompetent sometimes and almost costed trials which in the beginning was annoying but she is a good character as she has some solid character development and sometimes we sort of get a grasp on her perspective. Also put mr 'phycho cop' in decent tier and replace him with satsuki as her moments were more enjoyable for the most part except that moment when kinjo shocked everyone with attempting to end himself. But it's my opinion not a fact as it depends what we talking about. Most of this I agree with
Idk if anyone has mentioned this because the focus of the video and most of this channel's videos is Danganronpa but I like the Crystal Snail music playing in the background, tbh I've mostly played the classic series but completed X1 and completed some of X2, X3
Yea I like cystal snail's stage theme a lot. Funnily enough, we are very similar in our progress of the Megaman series. I've also played most of classic, finished Megaman X and only played some of X2 and X3

Tbh there's a lot out there which is pretty nice, idk what my favorite fan game is but my favorite rom hack is Rock Man 4 Minus Infinity, if you haven't played it I highly recommend it, but it is a pretty hard game, admittedly I only completed it with save states, but it's so amazing and all the robot master weapons are really good
@@pretty.much.. The only Megaman fangames I've played and beaten are Megaman Unlimited, Megaman Super Fighting Robot and Megaman Rock Force. All of them were very fun to play. I've heard of Rock Man 4 Minus Infinity. I may give it a try if I get back into Megaman and there's no classic games left for me to play

I mean killing Monokuma robots is cool and all but that doesn't do much for her character. She's a lot less interesting or entertaining compared to the people above her
@@DerpyHiro im not like a super Maki stan or anything, but idk her not liking her talent cause it doesnt fit her personality but then rising to the occasion and using that talent to desperately fight to protect everyone, eventually being the last remaining student before theyre all defeated, and that perhaps influencing Utsuro and Akane to want to get rid of her early in the killing game (thats headcanon ofc i admit it) idk its really cool to me. But ofc i should just make my own list then 👍🏽

Yeah, Mitch is almost of the lowest rank(hes the least of my favorites) hes just not that interesting. But i do like what he did with his character in that flashback part.
It's not that I dislike them as people. They are great people obviously. But I just dislike them as characters. I feel like they are very bland and didn't add a lot to the game
This might be a hot take but I feel when it comes to kizuna and Mitch they should both get the same amount of hate they are equally terrible it seems like more ppl like kizuna over Mitch bc the fact she is a girl simialr to the whole teruteru and miu situation
You see when I made this video, I did not not play Kizuna's freetime events... From the main game herself, I didn't think they made her out to be that bad in terms of her promiscuous behaviour. But then that FTE..., never did a FTE harm my opinion of a character so much
