Several years ago I ran into Daniel at a local location in NJ, where I live. He is such a warm and gracious person and I felt I knew him for years. What a talent he is too!
LMAO I love how before Fran had even finished introducing him, that one girl in the audience was screaming "OH MY GOD!!!" hahaha love it!! This little interview was adorable though, so sweet :) Both of them calling each other "darling" and all, awww!
La serie La Ninera es una Comedia increiblemente divertida, el sr. Daniel Davis que da vida al mayordomo Niles es fascinantemente divertido, lo veo en el canal Comedy Central
He's a Shakespearean actor, lots of theatre, so that may play a huge part in his 'round' words and way of speaking (if this info helps any of you haha) i love The Nanny!!! i feel like it's an underrated tv show :(
I love Daniel Davis. He is really great as Niles. Daniel you are turly a wonderful actor. And You are very handsome and sweet and so kind. I love you so much My Darling Daniel Davis.
I've loved watching him they every of "The Nanny" episodes. I've known he wasn't British on the show, & Charles was, only cuz of "Days of Our Lives"! He looks good 4 his age (same as my Dad),.
OMG, I heard that he passed away and thats why he couldnt be at the reunion! i AM IN SHOCK! this is fantastic!!! I alays liked Daniel and I am so glad he is still around!...
And, I do understand what someone means when speaking of his voice & sounding, but if you've done as many Shakespearian plays as he has, & as deep as his voice is & his presence is a commanding force, as a general, then you'd sound as he does. A frnd saw him on Broadway, & sez he's BRILLIANT!!! I wish I could go!
Daniel Davis will be 67 tomorrow. Happy Wonderful Birthday Daniel Davis. You are my hero. And You are so great on The Nanny. Niles the butler is so handsome and so charmingly sneaky. I love and adore you Daniel Davis. You are my hero.
@@georgemaster689 I have! Loved his infamous joke! 😂 I figured because they both started from Broadway, that's where they got their first taste of the accent, before they eventually polished it for Hollywood cos that's one useful skill. They did a great job, I must say. I'd also read that Brits really thought they were actually Brits as well. 😁
woah... he was so good with the british accent.... sad that he doesnt actually have one.... its so weird hearing him without one... this is sad....but l love him still... he was amazing
The interesting thing was that when the snow was broadcast in the UK many viewers wrote to the tv studio saying that Max’s British accent sounded way too fake to be believable and they wanted Niles to teach him how to speak better. This was all not knowing that Max is in fact British and Niles isn’t!
Thats hilarious! He is so convincing as the butler with a British accent. I totally thought it was real. Now that you mention it, Maxwell's accent does sound a bit 'fake' but perhaps its a bit watered down.
Nope. Funny thing is, some US audience actually wrote to the production company, urging Charles Shaughnessy (who played Maxwell and is a native Brit, but whom they mistook for an American) to drop his unconvincing phoney British accent and learn a proper one from...Davis. :D
