DARK DIGITONE: a Snowy Evening Jam

It's cold and snowy here tonight, so I stayed in and had a quick play with creating a fuller track using the Digitone. I paired it with the Eventide H9 for some effects. The track was recorded live - four tracks recorded, either sequenced on the Digitone (drums/bass) or played via Keystep (pads etc) directly into Ableton - no processing or additional effects except the H9. All sounds from the Digitone.
Didn't video session, so filmed the Digitone during the drum sequence and then mucked about with it in Final Cut.

Very nice! So many great examples of Ambient works via the Digitone on YT... this is one of the better ones.

Those mute buttons and display really brings the colours to the kaleidoscope effect and nice groove. I have this on order. Can't wait. 👍

Ha ha .. the Kaleidoscope Kid !! I know what ya mean though ,, i'm currently working my way through the visualizers in FL studio . Creating visuals can be just as much work as the track !

Great work man. I bay the digitone also (it's will be arrive next week) and I wondering if I should buy a drum machine or not. I think buy the tanzmaus drum machine. Did you have any opiniont about this?

I went into local music dealer to buy a Drumbrute. Listened to it and had a play. I liked it a lot, but they had the Digitakt next to it, so tried that. It just felt like a more versatile machine - drums and samples, so I went with that. The sound is great. You can use the Digitone for drums too, so I guess it just depends on your budget and specific needs. Enjoy your Digitone! It's an awesome machine :)
