Darrell Brooks Flips Out When Prosecutor Reveals He's a Sex Offender 

Bruh’s plan was to defend himself from murder charges by constantly projecting murderous rage.

The fact that he made it this far in life, without angering the wrong person is baffling to me.

This Judge is such a great person. She wasn’t raising her voice, but at the same time she was shutting him up. She kept her cool and exposed him for who he really was. A monster.

Imagine having to deal with this man in real life….without any court officers there to control him? He’s scary.

Judge is going to feel so good when she finally gets to say, ‘Life in prison with no possibility of parole’

Man, this guy really won a few arguments with his girlfriend and thought that gave him the experience to be his own lawyer…

He was so close to the “your honor stfu you weren’t even there”

His remorse is nonexistent, if I knew I caused the amount of pain , death and suffering as this defendant, I don’t think I could live with myself

For those who missed the hearing where Darrell Brook formally uncoupled himself from his state provided attorneys let me share with you that it was excruciating - Judge Dorrow went on for what felt like hours about what defending himself would mean; she went over his rights, what valuable resources he would be losing access to, what he would be up against with regard to the prosecutors, and that he would be expected to function as any competent attorney would. She told him that he would be up against a nearly impossible task and almost begged him to keep the attorney's provided by the state. So just keep that in mind when he complains endlessly about how unfair this trial is.

For anyone confused, he’s trying his very best to get a mistrial and the judge won’t let it happen this time.

This is why you need a lawyer.....a REAL lawyer.

It’s been over a year since I first watched this trial and it still makes my blood boil every time I he speaks.

If this "man" acts like this in front of a judge, imagine how he acts in public. Danger to society is an understatement.

I don't think he realizes the judge will be the one who sentences him. Showing her how dangerous he is and would be if he's ever let out in public again, is just brilliant.

As a person who works in law-enforcement and having attended numerous court proceeding I have to give my respect to this judge. Her tone, demeanor and actions are well measured and only to the point. This offender is not doing himself any favours in the way he behaves to the court. Like others I must say it's a wonder that he has managed to survive life to this point. He will definitely make friends while he serves his sentence.

I admire this judge for her patience and refusal to compromise the values or fairness of the justice system. It is nice to see such a patient, mature representative of the court system.

6 life sentences, plus 776 years... And 3 months. 😂 That's the most hilarious prison sentence I've ever heard. I feel awful for his victims, and awful for laughing, but thank God this man is going away for life.

I'll never understand why guys like this get such attitude with the judge. I mean, even if you're right and they're way out of line, what do you expect the outcome to be? They're just gonna flip around on a dime and love you? There's NO WORLD in which mouthing off a judge is ever going to help your case. Just shut up and do what you're supposed to do.

This is the most patient judge I’ve ever seen.

I feel better knowing he's been sentenced to like 1000 years in prison and can't have commissary or any luxuries until he pays off his debts to the court, which is going to take forever. Being in prison is bad enough but he can't even buy snacks or games or books like everyone else and that's so great.

I'm an inner city high school teacher. I cant tell you how many students I've had over the years who've exhibited this kind of arrogant behavior. This guy is essentially the "adult" personification of so many 15-19 year old youth dissillusioned with the world around them. It's sad because I've been teaching for more than 15 years, and in the process earned several graduate degrees that I did not even need to get, obtained numerous licenses, and attended many professional training seminars. Despite all my education and training, in some crazy ironic way I now understand so many of these kids even less than I did originally before setting foot for this venture. So many of these young men.....and women (they're not even technically "boys" and "girls" anymore) are completely unsociable and practically unteachable. It's sad because I know that so many of them will end up in an orange jump suit exactly like Mr. Brooks later in their lives. I had recently left a school primarily designed for these types of individuals. I made the choice to leave after having worked there for some time due to their being a lack of any actionable consequences or accountability for illegal behavior, repeat offenses, truancy, gang related behavior and simply bad choices. Thus, the school in my view was equally as culpable as is the other facets of their external environment. When I voiced my opinion to leadership about the mass damage that their misbegotten vision was doing to these students, I found myself no longer in good standing, so I left. When I look at and listen to this grown adult of a man who still doesn't seem to understand the causation for his current position, and the ramification of his choices, and endlessly deny his actions despite all the glaring evidence, I see many of my students.

I’ve heard that if you tell the judge to "stop, just stop" the judge is required by law to stop the proceedings and allow brooks to go free…

Darrel Brooks' story is a testament to the power of determination and perseverance in receiving his law degree from the streets of ghetto schools. Despite growing up in a mentally challenging environment, he never gave up on his dream of ending up in and out of jail, where he obtained his degree in criminal skills. His criminal achievements are a powerful reminder that anything is possible with hard work and dedication when you strive and end up with Six life sentences plus 776 years And three months in prison.

He was such an annoyance during the trial but this clip brought out the real him and his real rage.

Fun Fact: if you choose to represent yourself in a criminal trial, you cannot appeal due to incompetent counsel.

My heart goes out to that judge. This has to be so frustrating.
