She's a full bodied comedian. She uses everything to nail a punchline. That's what makes her so appealing. It's not enough to say it. You have to fully present it. She's a master at it. Absolutely phenomenal. She's essentially an actress that acts out funny jokes that she wrote.

@@SirDistic first of all, she dont have to be. they are artist, this is their arts. and everybody is entitled on who should be favorite of their own subjective tastes. second, according to all objective measures, she can indeed be considered as one of the best. there are more than 296 comedians exist in U.S. alone. and only couple dozens of them manage to be well known. and in these past few months she did indeed become well known. every time she open her mouth, she manage to make her audience laugh. even youtube commentsections(aside from the incels that comes with the territory) are full with positive comments. which is a rare thing to say about female comics. so its safe to say she can easily be in some people's top 50 or top 20 even. and third, the fact that you mentioned kevin hart but not dave chapelle or louis ck kind of telling how you are not any less subjective than the og commenter.

Most of today's comedians are mediocre. Tomlinson is an exception. I agree with you on her technical expertise. She has nice delivery and good timing.

Dude in what world is it okay to completely abandon your own integrity and accountability like that? If you’re not happy in your relationship, you can leave. No one is forcing you to cheat on them. There is literally no world where that behavior is anyone else’s fault but the person doing the action. Integrity is integrity. Self-fulfilling prophecy is literally what happened in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.

It just means you have this idea in your head, and then your actions can unwittingly make the likelihood of said prophecy more likely. Ergo.. the harder you try to avoid it, the more likely it is to happen.

Years ago I had a girlfriend who was mad jealous. Like, a full on temper tantrum if I even looked at another girl. Actually it didn't even have to be a girl. She went off on me one night about "turning gay" cos I was chatting to some random gay dude at a party once. It got so bad I ended up leaving her and found myself another girl, which was precisely what she was so worried about. That girl was definitely a self fulfilling prophecy.

Except you can have agency and still be manipulated. If your partner consistently tells you, that you are an asshole, and treats you poorly, and then one day you snap and yell at them, they'll go "SEE? ASSHOLE." You miss the part of the joke, where the therapist hints if you treat someone poorly, they will eventually act poorly. Being paranoid, jealous, controlling, are all features of someone worried about being cheated on. If you consistently are paranoid, jealous, controlling, and manipulative, you are being an abuser. You are turning a potentially great person away from you, and then will shrug and say "I knew it all along" when in fact it was you poisoning them. So while you attempt to make a compelling argument, you're ignoring the elephant in the room, that perhaps it's Taylor's own insecurities and toxic traits, that drive people away. Not that they were toxic in the first place. There's a number of people who would excuse a cheater, if the partner was manipulative, paranoid, jealous, abusive, and the actual victim, found love and sanctuary elsewhere, and ran with it. Not being able to break up with the person first, out of fear, or anxiety, or a plethora of other reasons. I personally wouldn't. Cheating is cheating to me, but I've heard the case a million times. "My ex-husband abused me, and I just sort of ended up falling for a guy who actually cared, and they picked me up at my weakpoint and thats how our relationship started -- before the divorce because I was afraid of what my husband might do" etc. You don't get to poison the well that people drink from, and then go "Well you drank it. It's your fault you're sick." and simply be admonished of guilt or wrong doing.
