Sending love! it’s a good thing you went. Our home children’s hospital (SickKids in Toronto) also has the child life specialists talk you through the procedure and it was so helpful when our daughter was old enough to know she was having heart surgery. So many nerves

I felt so bad for Ashley in this video. She looked so nervous and pitiful. I'm glad it wasn't appendicitis, and I hope she feels better. Seattle looks pretty all lit up at night.

She was so worried. She knew enough to know that if the tests came back it might say she needs surgery. She would have fallen apart at that. She was so worried about that. She was a trooper but really nervous. Hope you are all doing well. Happy new year!!

She was so nervous! I too am glad it wasn't appendicitis. Ashley was so scared about having surgery. She's not scared about 4 casts for broken bones though! Ha! Seattle is a pretty city all lit up.

So right about how a child getting sick just gets you. Being at childrens hospital and seeing some of the really sick kids can be so so sad. She was a trooper but very nervous. Glad all was well. Thanks for your kind comment. Happy new year.

Now I pray your pain is gone for good and you can start to eat. Oh Dayna I got your card yes terday and I just love it. Maybe it was bad gas? I know when I get bloated I don't feel like eating much. What I do is warm up Coca Cola and sip it and if it does not clear it up then you know you need to go to ER.

Good tip idea! It took us a while, but we figured out that it was eating habits and other things causing the problems. It sure presented like appendix though.

I’m sorry you have to get your tonsils out tomorrow! The best part of surgery is actually the part getting put to sleep. It’s very relaxing actually. Good luck. You’ll get lots of popsicles and ice cream too!

I had appendix before and I threw up and had fever at school and it was appendix so had surgery at hospital and it was removed

Yes, we are glad she didn't need surgery, but it's still been a long process to get her feeling ok. Almost wish its as an easy fix like surgery.

It could have been gas im 23 year old and had gas trapped as well as muscle cramp on my stomach and the pain was so bad i was crying home and ER i thought it was a appendix but it was not

Why do ALL youtubers say rushing to the ER! without even watching it and typing this bit at one minute in she doesn't have appendicitis!! Why give her milk to drink !! DO NOT drink milk full stop but especially when you are ill with stomach & digestive issues! she is alert and doesn't even look very unwell! you getting her a treat of crap food as a treat when she feels unwell is ridiculous, plus food is not a treat and that sets up eating issues into adulthood! OMG fast greasy food on the way back from hospital for digestive issues! Salami is a processed meat and is a known carcinogenic! Giving her snacks in the hospital shows that she was fine....

Unless you are the one going through something like this, you don’t really understand all the details. We did in fact rush to the ER per multiple doctors orders. Hours after being in the hospital, multiple tests, bloodwork, IV fluids, and yes, some snacks per doctors orders…only THEN did they rule out appendicitis. What shows up in a 15 minute video is the end result of an entire days worth of time spent going from hospital to hospital. I’m not sure where Salami comes into play either. She doesn’t eat salami. ?? Please stop judging when you don’t actually know what’s going on. Thanks!! Have a wonderful day!

@@daynacreates1105 I am medically trained! I ruled it out immediately! you gave her milk which is the wrong thing to have by far! the doctors only went by what you said! Dr Google is extremely dangerous, she didn't look unwell per say! she was alert and was fine to play games etc! she ate at the hospital which shows she was fine. I am talking about you saying she could have a treat of food and she did have fries they are not good nutritionally and again underlines the fact she wasn't ill and it was a poor choice! you CLEARLY said the other girl would have probably had veggies and salami, do you have memory loss? salami causes cancer full stop! She went through all that testing when all she needed is to rest and hydrate then eat small amounts! i am honest and can see the facts.. my seven years of medical training and years of knowledge is not judgemental it is FACT!

Ok. Here’s the thing. She saw her own doctor. We didn’t google it. She got her own medical care. We didn’t in fact make this video to ask our viewers to diagnose her for us. Therefore, I don’t need you to do that. While I appreciate your comments, we don’t need medical advice. We are receiving that from our own doctors. Thanks and have a great day!

@@daynacreates1105 You need to think what you say as you did clearly say you googled it, i did diagnose her just simply by seeing how she was and paused the video at one minute in to type as when you are medically trained you can see by her body language that she wasn't ill enough to have anything apart from a mild bacterial infection as in a tummy bug or a mild case of food poisioning. Putting your child on YT is an invite for comments.Milk is the worst thing to give kids, a flat soda like lemonade or Sprite tends to help. Ice pops or ice lollies without sugar of course are brilliant to get them hydrated and sleep. Kids that are really ill are not chatty and responsive. A very high fever and clammy skin them guarding when you touch the abdomen... You didn't get good advice from the GP if he/she thought for one single moment that she was sick enough to have tests and to be scared for no reason...Parents here in the UK deal with mild illnesses at home, i am a parent to two boys so i have experienced this and MUCH MUCH worse..The ER should be only used for emergencies full stop x

@@tijay8507 a lot of people in the US want the type of healthcare that is in the UK. They would crap if they had to use the ER like the one in the UK. You always hear about how expensive it is in the US but honestly, 95% of ER patients could be seen by their primary care. But yeah, I’m an ER nurse and could tell you at 20 seconds it wasn’t appendicitis. I mean, a CT scan is all you need. I had it when I was 15 and it was miserable.

I know how Ashley feels like that her stomach is hurting bad. I had pancreatitis 2 times back in 2002 and in 2020 & 2021 I was having stomach problem with me going through the withdrawal systoms of drinking alcohol and now I have quit drinking alcohol and no more stomach hurting

@@johnschirloff836 we are lucky to live so close to so many amazing hospitals in Seattle and the surrounding area. Our daughter is doing great now, thank you. Luckily it wasn’t her appendix, and we were able to help her with simple diet changes.
