Jeff was the weirdest, noisiest megadeth guitarist ever. They actually turned his leads down on the album... But Dave raised them on the remasters. They're like shoving your head in a hornet nest.

My god, Dave’s stare of death at Jeff while he talks at 5:00…chilling. He just hated the guy. I think even without the reported drama (and I buy 95% of Jeff’s version of events) I think he would have been gone based on personality and image clashes and the fact that he dared to, uh, talk during interviews.
@@darylhall2198 Dave talks shit about everyone besides his wife and kids. His auto-biography is insufferable, he's constantly (and self-servingly) putting other people in a really bad light. One thing that gets weird is how often he talks about how other guys dress. Like, who cares?
@@ryanjacobson2508 and im all for being brutally honest but calling lars a bad drummer just isnt fact....i dont like lars either but his drumming(only in the 80s) was great.
@@darylhall2198 His drumming back in the days was good. He went downhill after St Anger. I remember seeing Metallica live with a few mates back when Dave was still in the band, Lars’ drumming was on point. Nowadays? Rubbish. Might be because of age, or just lack of skill 😂
At 8:30 or so Dave gets weirdly defensive about not answering the question. I've seen it in other interviews, too. It's like he's trying to assert dominance or something by not cooperating. Jeff seems like a cool guy, though, and has a good sense of humor.

I don't, sorry. Back then I'd only record the parts of the show that I liked because I couldn't afford to buy all the blank tapes needed to record the entire show.
Everything that I recorded is on my channel already, but I might reupload some of it in better quality. Some of it goes all the way back to when my parents bought a Beta machine (instead of VHS). I had to transfer those from Beta to VHS back then before they got rid of the Beta machine so the quality isn't great.
