But the good news is that the nutritional value of a vegetable isn't reduced during either the canning or freezing process - making canned or frozen veggies just as healthy as fresh ones. People used canning as a way to preserve food to live off of, it would be pointless to preserve food in a way that had the least amount of nutrients. Look up facts first.
Frozen berries are always the seediest and wrinkliest berries from the field- but you're right about how quickly store bought berries go bad... if you have any ability to, find a u-pick berry patch, and freeze the ones you pick yourself!
You can NOT use frozen blueberries in a bake pie, it will be extremely watery, once they freeze they thaw 8 to a liquid u I,e fresh blueberries that retain their gel like comsistency
