Day 9 of your stretching and mobility challenge presents a swift yet effective 8-minute session designed to loosen up your hands and wrists.

I teach senior fitness classes and this is a regular part of our warming up. I’m 66 now and have seen over the last decade my mobility is slightly impaired, no doubt from osteoarthritis in my fingers. The days of yoga handstands and 90 min vinyasa have passed now due to pain visiting me with prolonged use. Body changes are inevitable but never welcomed, unless they are positive changes! Lol

Ahhhhh...a great one for knitters as well! My massage therapist is always like "what the heck have you been doing to get such tight forearms and hands?!" This is a great stretch to counter that.

ahhh...that feels good. I usually have sore wrist and thumb joints, but after the last full body stretch, where we stretched our wrists as well, I felt better. I'm goin to make hand and wrist stretching a part of my weekly routine!

Love these stretches. I am a software engineer and after just a few hours of typing these stretches help alleviate the tension in my fingers, hands and wrists. Combined with a mini walk around the house if I'm working from home or down the cubical isle if I'm working in the building, I get re-energized at the same time. Thanks Chris!

This week, I've primarily been on my computer doing course prep for the upcoming semester.😩 This is a great mobility to relax the tension in my forearms and hands. Yes, they said ahhhh during the workout. By the way, I was cracking up seeing Louie stalking across the yard in the first minute of the video. I was watching you Chris.....but really I was watching for another Louie sighting.😂❤️💯❤️

I have been having wrist pain on the right side. But this felt nice and I didn’t have pain with these moves. Ahh my hands and wrists feel good now. It’s nice to move in directions I don’t normally move.

Ahhh...stretch so good! It was nice to see Louie again during this one even if he was lurking! 🙂 I am always amazed at how much my hands need some love when I get a massage. Last time I was there I asked them to spend more time on my hands! I always get annoyed when I get a manicure and get a wimpy massage. See you and Louie on Day 10!
