Customer wanted 3 new designer radiators…only problem was all the walls were plasterboard…2 of them wasn’t that big but the kitchen radiator was 1800 x 600 double panel so had a lot of weight to say the least! The pipework also had to be hidden so the only thing for it was to take out the wall and plaster but as you’ll see it didn’t go the way I thought. For the smaller radiators we used ‪@bullfixplasterboardfixings6387‬ great product.
Thanks to everyone that’s subscribed so far 🙌👍

Nice job , customers don't realise the amount of work involved sometimes when you tell them what it's going to cost.... 😳 I just wish these designer rads came with long length panel type brackets instead of four small ones , it would make fitting them a doddle.... cheers.... 👍

Cheers mate…Yeah I tell customers to sit down before they open the quote 😂😂 Would bare the weight better if it was a full bracket and easier to install overall

The ones we fit for air source systems are similar to designer rads. They come with full length brackets. So much better.

Should of used studding with chemical resin into the block work as long as the resin got behind the board it would have been fine

Great video, and thanks for showing us how you do it, I'm not a plumber but like watching how all trades work, I watched one last night and he doesn't really show that much, just basically tells you and then shows the finished bit, please keep yours as they are

I found putting an Allen/ hex key in a drill, long end into chuck feed it in hole clears the cardboard egg box at back of hole easier.

i do believe that job title doesn't exist on itself, we should be titled muti traders who specialise in plumbing, in any given job we can find ourselves plumbing/joinery/ plastering/ bricklaying/ electrics and everything inbetween pal, suppose that's why we're top of the tree😊

Spot on mate, find myself doing every trade most days….don’t let the sparkys know what you said, only make them cry 😂😂

As a joiner of 40 years I can honestly say that most plumbers are far from multitaskers😂
@saw6386
@saw6386 6 месяцев назад
@sidstewart7399 maybe but we can all cut a piece of wood so at least we can definitely class ourselves as time served joiners.🤣

@bluebulldog_uk wasn't sure at first and you could do with a Bluetooth microphone or something (sometimes). However, otherwise, I really enjoy your content, it's really full of great tips etc and I'm enjoying everything and look forward to new ones. Appreciate it so much.

I do work on an estate full of this stuff. Council estate in Wolverhampton… honeycomb plasterboard or paramount as it’s otherwise known as is the biggest pain ever. Feel your pain on this one buddy! Always a way round it but it’s never easy!!

Nice work, we plumbers have to know all of the trades just to do ours man. Quick question, those tees you installed on the feed and return dont have to be directional so as to scoop the water to the heater? Here in the states its done a bit differently. Nice work across the pond brother.
@bluebulldog_uk
@bluebulldog_uk 7 месяцев назад
Thanks mate, no they don’t have to be swept but you do still see some swept Tee installed on older systems thou over here 👍👍
@mattstiglic
@mattstiglic 7 месяцев назад
@bluebulldog_uk thanks for the reply! Yeah most older systems here are referred to as "monoflow" utilizing tees that are directional. Interesting to see how you guys do it. I'll be watching your content man keep up the good work and the best trade there is!

@@mattstiglic yeah I like to see how other countries do plumbing as it’s all different, I’m pretty sure plumbers are one of the only trades that make there job there life, work all day as a plumber and we research and watch plumbing on our time off 😂👍
