That is so true, when my son was an infant and up till whenever we would tiptoe around and be quiet or you will wake the baby. No that’s not the way you do it I’ve seen babies sleep with 10 other kids running through the house that’s the way it should be. So that’s definitely good advice
Lol yup. It's one of those things you do for your first, but never again. Second baby can sleep through sibling watching tv, playing with toys, running around. But I think most people still keep quiet for the first one. Some things you learn from experience.

When I had my baby I joined a Mom/baby group (all babies around the same age). It was one of the best things I ever did...lots of new friends, all at the same stage in life as me and my baby. You might want to look for one in your area. ( 🙂just a friendly suggestion )

I have 4 children and used a playpen to keep little one safe so I could take a shower. Use the washer and dryer because the more noise the better she will sleep. Start the laundry before laying her down. She is adorable. 💕
Lacey, you don't have to be perfect, your house doesn't have to be perfect just because your a stay at home mom. Its still a full time job caring for Bexley. Don't let haters make you feel you or your home needs to be perfect. Good idea to put items to block her into a small area now that she is getting around, it keeps her safe and not baby proofing is ok as long as your keeping an eye on her when she is all over the place. Your doing great, please do blog even if everything isn't perfect.

Bexley is adorable! You can buy those nylon mesh laundry bags with a zipper that you can put the baby clothes in (like the outfit with the strings) and put in the washing machine. It will prevent the clothes from getting tangled up. I have about 7 of them and they are great. They sell different sizes. You can probably find at Walmart or Amazon. You can also put your bras in them so they don't get tangled up in the machine. I love how you keep your channel real and you are beautiful without the makeup and the fake eye lashes. Most new moms just wear whatever is comfortable. Now that the weather is finally cooling down you may want to take Bexley out for a walk in her stroller around the apartment complex. Fresh air is so good and the days of 110 degrees are over.....for now. You are doing an awesome job!
Girl I feel ya on that, Ive Been a stay at home mom for the last couple years and it's hard. My house is trashed, clothes are t always the cleanest some.days you just gotta do what you gotta do. I also didn't baby proof besides a stair case that went downwards. By the way she is freaking adorable and has the cutest smile!

Find an activity center for Miz B! It moves from room to room, keeps her busy with all the gizmos on the top, and some can even get her used to standing on her legs! Bet u can find at kids resale shops or at Walmart or Target. Only used the baby gate for our dogs!😊 These activity centers were a blessing for this farm wife, kids could see me-I could see them and still clean up messes hubby brought in! Check them out!
Girl don’t worry about talking too much! I’m a sahm too haha so when I get to talk to someone I just go crazy and talk about anything that pops into my mind and I always rush because I feel like if I don’t get everything out in time I’ll wish I talked about something certain

She is adorable. Have you thought of vlogging weekly questions and thoughts instead of a podcast? Because with a podcast you are starting from zero and there are so many of them already, whereas you already have viewers on your channel. Your topics could be like what you are doing in this vlog. As well once a month maybe you could do "my sister" or "my brother". Kind of like an interview as to how they are doing, what they would like to do etc. As well if Eli has siblings, maybe they would like to do it. Once a week you could look at favorite baby things - asking the week before about viewers favorites and then talking about them specifically (look them up for more info). Look up on the internet challenges facing first time parents. Talk about that (researching it and making some notes for yourself makes it easier to cover) Talk about your own challenges. There are a lot of ways you could do this. Maybe one week you could call it venting. And just vent about anything but ask the week before what viewers would like you to vent about. If you have a regular once a month style then it wouldnt get boring and would give you time to get ready for the next one. It could be interesting for you too. Then when you do vlogs with Eli, perhaps you could visit places in your city, like animal sanctuary, animal shelter - people LOVE animals and those channels have huge followers. And it would be a little more exposure for them. Go for a walk in an interesting area where you can be further from people and talk about what you are seeing. Cheers.
This was a fun Vlog just seeing what you do on a regular day is fun and getting to see Bexley is a plus. Also sometimes being stuck home alone with a child can get depressing. Not that you don’t love her but you need to have adult interaction too. So I am glad you took the time to share with us today. You are doing a great job!

Literally so true about the weather, when you live somewhere where it gets up to 115°, 72° is cold. It’s nice tho but in the mornings it’s like 42° and that’s rlly cold

Lacey see if you have any kids consignment shops near you. 1. They will take all the clothes that Bexley has grown out of 2. They will give you money for those clothes 3. You can buy clothes / use the money they gave you for those you brought to the shop to buy new clothes. Saves you a whole lot of money that way. My daughter used to love the consignment store when we used it until she grew out of it.

Don’t ever apologize for talking.. I’ve been a sahm for almost 2 years and it’s so hard .. you don’t get the normal human adult interaction like you should. Best advice I have and make even 1 day where you can call and talk to someone or meet up with someone and have your adult time

Hey Lacey!! Bexley is getting so big! Have you tried a white noise machine while she sleeps? My kids use them. It may help with being able to do your vacuuming laundry and things like that while she's sleeping. You all look great! Thanks for another vlog!
