You have great bench builders I would never have the patients to explain as I’m doing a bench job. I just go to it and get it done. Great bunch of builders you’re lucky to have good help like them. Thanks
Have come here from watch Wes work and from c&c equipment. All have been very informative great to learn from. Thank Cory for the extra time to teach us what he does so well.
Stanadyne was forced to go to electronic pumps because of the Tier 3 emissions regulations. Typical of the gubmint, once the switch was made, the pump was far less reliable, and didn't provide much emissions savings over the mechanical pumps, but DAMM, those bureaucrats had to do something to justify their big salaries and pensions.
We know for most the stuff that breaks down is their least favorite...we don't appreciate anyone's frustration, but we do appreciate the opportunity to make it right or better! Job security!
Saw C&C’s video and he gave a shout out to check out this overhaul video so had to come check it out! I don’t know how a professional pilot like myself gets addicted to heavy equipment videos but I did.
It's Great too see there's still a few Companies like Yours and C&C Equipment....Thank You to both of You Guys. I came from C&C Channel though I've seen You with a few other RU-vidrs. I will be sending anything I need too Your company when needed for repair or replaced for Sure...
Impressive engineering. To a non-mechanic, there is nothing intuitive about the relation of the individual parts as to how fluid flow is generated by this assembly. It’s diesel magic from a bygone era of 19th century genius. 👍
Thumbs up 👍 seeing this with all the special tools and setup that you have available for rebuilding it’s a shop required build! After seeing the experience in play good call C&C😊
Thanks for the video. Just goes to show how complex these parts are. My 1 suggestion on the video front:- Can you please provide additional lighting so that product being worked upon is properly lit up. Also the focus - it is pulsing frequently, which is not a pleasant watching experience. Thanks again for the fantastic content.
Sent here from Clint Very good content! Actually have a pump that needs to be re built. Will be reaching out to you guys in a few months when i get around to the project.
All positive reactions to this video, which makes sense because it is very clear and interesting. But a point of criticism, the auto-focus of the shots and the fast hand movements did not always make it clear what exactly was being explained. Seems like a point of interest for the next video. love the detail, would love to see a video on a Bosch CP3 pump don't know how common they are on the USDM tho :) having a problem with mine, and the local place told me it wasn't the fuel pump and that I needed an EGR/DPF delete. which is incredibly illegal in europe, but the italians are largely a law unto themselves... not as a tutorial you understand, but as a way to confirm my suspicions.
Okay... so I found this channel looking for a the rebuild on a pump you did for Matt over at Diesel Creek... but I don't see it. This sort of looked like it, but I don't think it is. I can't seem to find the upload he was talking about.
