I absolutely adore the drums in the background, they give it such a cartoonish vibe. The distortion adds an almost nauseating feel, as if you were actually getting drugged. The game might not be perfect, but god damn do they deliver some great shit sometimes
Unique Chase music gives more personality and character to the killers its really nice and also they changed clowns suit colours to a more bright red and purple bow
@@taluca8474 well he did fall into every vice to suppress his desire to kill. alcohol, smoking, porn, hard drugs and overeating he basically did everything to hide his true nature but some habits are harder to kick than others
this is giving the vibes that you're in the middle of the circus , being chased by the clown while the marching band is playing around you , without helping you , the audiency is watching , laughing at you , you're helpless without understand why no one is helping you
@@paramsingh9105 I didn’t even realize they didn’t add anything for him, maybe it’s cuz his rework wasn’t as big, and it didn’t come with a bunch of other changes like the new animations idk.
My favourite part is the 16 meters. You are still unsure if he noticed you and if hes actually looking for you while you hide, hoping he doesn’t come closer

This is probably one of the best chase musics they have ever done in my opinion the constant loop of anxiety and the increasing insanity and tension of the situation as they get closer and the drums of the chase as if the circus has just begun its show
Yes, I totally agree and I think Clown has the best killer for me and the best trailer. The design of that fingers and clown is very unique. It matches the victim very well. it gives me the Outlast vibe. Absolutely my favorite ..
I'm so glad more killers are getting more unique chase music it really adds to their character instead of just the basic chase music every other killer has. makes them feel more scary, unique and different, i hope more killers get their own chase music in the future

@@dnndrxx1893 sure, i got my first match against him like two hours ago, even tough i've been playing at least one hour a day since the rework 😅, but it was a good experience i couldn't kept myself from laughing, i mean just imagine being chased with the circus music and the drums this is no longer scary 😂
I wish this happened. Instead it was the rise of the nurses for me, thank god that ended🤣😭🤣 Now I'm lucky to see him once every few days. Maybe two on one day if I'm lucky or don't play him myself🤣
It's always insane to me how much of an effect something as simple as the chase music can have. I see him as a threat now instead of a joke. Giving The Clown this theme instead of the generic killer chase theme, at least in my ears, completes the original intended purpose of his design: to be one creepy fucking clown.
I love the vibe all of the new chase music's give off Doctor - lots of sharp metal sounding noises that are very erratic , goes with the fact that he would torture his victims , and the feel of electricity and how it tends to make bodies shake erratically Hillbilly - starts of slow giving that eerie country vibe before the best starts getting faster almost sounding like a chainsaw running , the way the music flows goes with the more chaotic way he runs , or dashes at you Clown - Has this Marching band from hell feel , the same carnival instruments from his menu theme . So far to me it feels like being lost in a mirror maze with a scary ass clown coming after you
I appreciate DBD’s way of giving the community features and bonuses we want, it seems they outdo themselves every time. This is gonna be super scary to hear when getting chased by Clown, this is awesome!!!

The devs still need to do a lot of serious balance fixes together with the community and especially fix many bugs. There are many killers that are unplayable to servers and bugs. This is almost nothing. Why dont you go play with ds and OoO in red ranks? Btw bubba is far from high tier because windows destroy him and he has 0 mobility...
From afar it sounds like a cart being rode on tarmac or unsettled grounds. With a timely breath of a horse Medium, it sounds like a travelling circus passing by with multiple carts and the sounding musicians When near you its basically sounds of laughter, a circus happening. The show is in town. A march, their right next to you, you are watching the attraction up close, the clown.
those "ambient sounds" in the begining.. As a musician I can say that it is a PERFECT tune! It's a bit downtuned from the basic tune, so it gives you a bit scarier atmosphere.

Btw this chapter makes so much sense to have this killer and this survivor together, the Clown is a psychopath who kills and keep victims fingers, and Kate is a guitarist with beautiful musician fingers, it makes sense he wants her fingers.
Also, Kate Denson and the Clown are similar. They’re both entertainers (Kate is a country singer (based Kate) while the Clown worked for the circus, presumably as a clown) but they are their role because of different reasons (Kate wanted to bring happiness to the world after seeing what a song can do while the Clown only worked for the circus to get away from his criminal life)

you can hear like, a little marching noise while being chased, and I really like the weird noise in the background. if any kid heard it they'd probably think of it as silly which is perfect for the clown
Love that the clown got his own chase theme. I liked the general music used for a lot of killers, but they just give them so much more personality and presence with unique themes. Hope they add more!
