I actually don't think so, especially if they fight the thing together. I feel like at that point Kendra's sense of morality and duty would have been too mixed up and she would've felt like she's just gonna deal with it after they are already out of there. She would have been wary of Isaac though, and for good reason. She literally has no idea what Isaac is hearing or seeing at any moment.

Again, Marker Dementia also seems to inhibit some symptoms that are similar to schizophrenia, such as auditory/visual hallucinations and declining sanity, in which we could see in... almost everyone in the Dead Space universe (except for, say, Lexine since she's the Ellie of DS)
Remake looks great, but Isaac having a voice in the original now just underlines how much he's standing there like an idiot while his friends die, lmao
My personal contention is that it’s the same game, but with fundamentally different filters: the original Dead Space was all about the incomprehensible Eldritch horror that Isaac (and therefore humanity) is completely outmatched by and the way that Isaac more survives the story rather than triumphs at the end. New Dead Space gives much more room for everyone to be heroic and give a greater sense of humanity (both its nobility and its frailty) through the characters while also giving the players far more power than they felt in the original story. There’s nothing wrong with either approach, but to me the former is far more artistically and narratively striking than the latter. Still a solid reboot, but it almost feels to clean and easy to use compared to the smudgy, clunkier way the game had been previously. Makes you feel more like an action hero surviving an alien invasion rather than a desperately outclassed and outnumbered Everyman who’s barely holding it together.

Эта атмосфера безысходности и пиздеца была передана там идеально, также в игре дед спейс экстракшен, там тоже была атмосфера, как герои выбрались с планеты в надежде что на ишимуре они спасутся, но нет, надежды разбиваются в крах и там мы наблюдаем вечное напряжение, вечный побег, это тоже отличная атмосфера с совокупностью кучи смертей, а что мы имеем в ремейке? Драма? Комедия? Точно не ужас или страх, даже атмосферой не пахнет. Я как буд-то смотрю кино, а не играю в игру, при чем с лишней драмой не нужной в виде Хэммонда которого сделали нюней, его смерть это апофеоз фэйспалма и ржача, это не тот Зак.
@@aokiyagaba Yes, I'd rather they spend a month animating Hammond's face, body, and ballsack ripping apart in full detail rather than doing conveying the same scene efficiently and effectively using proven game development techniques like model swaps and particle effects in order to free up manpower for other animations.
