I ["think"-opinion base statement] before you come to Africa, you need to look in the mirror first from where you are in the UK, Canada and the United States as once upon a time an African. if you don't see anything or find yourself whilst looking in the mirror, then don't bother visiting Africa. Africans are very serious people in the heat under the sun 24/7, they are very focus smart and highly intelligent people, it's just limited resources sometimes....

@@fessellsahmed2587 agreed. Most of us are buying land and building our home when we get out there or buying a home after renting for a period. Why did he say that we need to move from an agricultural economy to a service economy? Agriculture is very important! People will always need food. If you move away from that, you’ll end up importing food.
@tigerhead1981

The reason he said that is there so much food in Africa, yes people need food they, will always need food, create Your own space, from my experience in Africa there are tremendous opportunities that food has nothing to do with. We can find common ground with Africans, just don't have expectations that things will be a certain way. Deal with the way they are, things go better than way. All my opinion.

@Deante Scott I used to hear that from people in my own family. They're from Barbados. But, the smart ones learn about America in time. The more stupid ones, yeah, including some in my family, hang onto that nonsense. Do we have some hopeless, wanna take shortcuts AAs? Yup. Do we have some that work hard yet get slapped down or trapped in some corporate jobs? Yup, we do. Thing we have to do in terms of Africans and African diaspora from anywhere is seek out the positive ones and deal with those folks. The ones that want to be cliches, forget 'em.

I don't know how i found this channel. But what this young man is speaking is facts. I can't wait to go back to Uganda I miss eating rolex for breakfast. One the main things I always tell people keep the American mindset on America. Go to continent with a renewed mind mentally, physically, spiritually, mentally. I tell people the conversations that are happening in the Motherland are totally different then U.S.A. Many of Americans of African descent have much healing to do and you have to check your vibe before you get on the plane. I do understand Africa not meant to be lived by all those of African Diaspora due to western way of living. But is def an option for those who are to live simply, peacefully and build the economy in which African nation you choose. Great Interview!

Once again if you don't have a business or a steady stream of income you'll struggle to live in Uganda. There is no freehold land for African Americans to buy. Just 49 to 99 year leasehold land. It's great if you have money. Even if you have a business Ugandan would buy from Ugandan first, because its cheaper to buy from another Uganda. I've been going back and forth to Africa since 2003.

His content was never anti African. Africans just hate hearing constructive criticism from anyone in the diaspora. You all are so emotional about it. Oshay is a RU-vidr, he criticized African Americans (his own people) much more than he did anyone else. Africans don't have a problem when he criticizes other Blacks in the diaspora but yall cry and say it's anti African when he mentions problems in Africa. @@chicagomycity I am an African, I can only truly comment on things that I know off, and those that affect the continent, When African Americans criticize or praise themselves, We stay out of that fray, because we have no point of reference to either comment or judge the veracity of what is being said...How can I sitting in my house in Lome, Togo, know what you people are doing in Los Angeles, enough to call Oshay out on that??? Please keep your generalized condemnation to yourself..You dont know me or enough AFricans to know how emotional we are..Infact the only person sounding a bit peeved is YOU, coz what I said was true..Oshay himself has said that often on his channel, before that he has been hard on Africa, before ever starting to visit, and I have been watching him way before his first visit to the continent.....
