Yeah it adds a bit of visual distinction between the different parts of the army. Plus of all the 40k armies, Death Guard are probably the ones I'd least associate with uniformity and symmetry, so it definitely fits there.

As with any chaos army it’s so hard to unify the combination or armour and flesh/daemon models, I think the bases do this brilliantly! Would love to game against this army and gentleman any day!

I’ve started my first army recently and of course I had to choose Death Guard, they’re just so evocative. Play On has helped me so much with learning how the game is played. And I have to admit I got very inspired by the bright green basing. My version however is a lot more newb-ish. I start by painting the base as vibrant of a yellow-green as I can mix, and then once it’s dry I layer on some Vallejo Water Simulator. You can also brush on the water simulator for easy glossy effects
I find pretty unique the fact that not even once Tycho brought any Death Guard Lieutenants (Foetid Virions) to the game, despite some of them are and always were pretty decent or even amazing. This is not his play style.
Should DEFINITELY swap title on that Tyrant to "Twice risen", and the more times he dies, the more times he rises. That way, he will never be defeated, only returned to claim another legion of souls
I have an idea for a Game I'd really like to see you guys do. Can you do a 4 way Chaos Battle, Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle, and Slaanesh, in a battle royale.
