Why? Because of his super strength? He can obviously control it and it does not seem like he is typing at super speed. Because laptop keys are usually bad?
I like how they gave her a role as investigating her husband because I think in the comics she just finds out from someone else, this gives her more character.
but it's also why the details of how she figures it out are kinda clumsy. I agree its better for the story to have her figure it out. but the execution of the details is just sloppy.
I like it cause honestly I feel outta everyone on the planet disregard Mark, he feels he can trust his wife the most. She even said she trusts him so therefore Omni-man has no reason to think she'd snoop around. Therefore Debbie can investigate without him suspecting anything.
What doesn't make sense, however, is Nolan being able to deliver the food in one piece. The dude is travelling at supersonic speeds - whatever food he was holding, should be burnt to ash or turned to paste.
@@genericname2593 It didn't look like she was hiding anything from his perspective. Nerds always gotta be so pedantic like god damn just enjoy the cartoon.
you know, for a guy who seemingly despises humanity and views their lives as little more than ants, he sure does love to visit nice places and eat delicious foods. omni-man the mass murderer is a foodie... how does he switch like that, from enjoying eclairs from france, to shredding a train full of innocents using his son's face as the blade?
I believe his son was right and that he was lying. He doesn't actually think human lives are meaningless. He just thought his mission as a Viltrumite was more important at first and he was doing everything he could to try to convince his son and himself that his identity as a human is unimportant.
@@DharshM0 i would like to believe that, but he did just use his son's face as a murder weapon to massacre an entire train full of innocents...there must've been several children aboard too. my sense for his compassion is not very strong
I don't understand this bit. This is a guy who can literally throw the evidence into the sun. Why would he stash it in his house? *Edit: Yes, Thank you. I know he says why in later episodes. If you haven't figured it out for yourselves, this comment was made before that episode came out.
That even count as a "hiding spot" she or her son would of stumbled on a large bag half visible at some point while dusting. Feels more like he threw it up there in a panic like she did with under the counter throw and just forgot its still there.
No he definitely wouldn't. Maybe because part of him loves her, but mostly because of Mark. He needs Mark on his side for his plan to work and hurting her would put Mark against him
Remember Omni Man literally said he saw his wife as a PET. If you commit a crime, you'd hide your evidence and wouldn't expect your fish to find it. Plus he just really, really underestimated Debbie. He's too prideful and arrogant to hide the evidence elsewhere.
Yeah, cause he totally sounded convincing when he said that :P He was lying to Mark and to himself. She means far more to him than a pet does. Anybody who believed him when he said this are the same people who watch the news and assume that just because it's on the TV, it must be true.
This is rather interesting. It seems darkbloods items seem to have the same freezing air properties as he does. It's just an item yet it has his presence.
that must be fucking terrifying, like sure you can be living with a murderer but its worse when you know you cant call the cops on him because he's strong enough to slaughter them all in seconds.
He must have collected blood from the suit to frame the demon detective. So maybe he just changed hiding spots for that particular reason and didn't believe it was gonna be a problem to leave it there because he has a major superiority complex.
Cecil already knew Omniman killed the Guardians, but tf are you going to do against a dude who can wreck planets like with the effort of a chore? As far as we know, he's looking for a weakness, something to balance things out before he can confront Nolan, that is why he exorcized Dark Blood and framed him, just to avoid pissing off the god-like alien that already sees humanity like beigns far below him
I love how besides his love for his family, Omniman actually DOES show that he loves the earth in a very peculiar way: he has a knack for tourism and exploring other cultures. He’s a massive foodie He takes the time to map out where every major landmark is on earth He learns the history of where he visits (he apparently really admires Julius Caesar) Out of all the covers he could’ve gave himself; he chose to be an author for Tourism books; and his sci fi novels are basically his adventures from touring the cosmos. Dudes a traveler.
People keep asking why he hid it in the house but I think the GDA is watching him so closely that there's no way he'd have time since leaving the hospital to hide it anywhere but inside his house. They'd be asking all sorts of questions if he suddenly disappeared into space or across the planet without explanation. Also, the writers seem to have made him a very "out of sight, out mind" character -- maybe hiding it in the house wasn't the smartest thing to do but people often don't make smart decisions if they’re under stress or feel guilty.
definitely, at least someone understand the story....He also super confident so because of what you said he probably think the best way is to keep an eye on it as he is a super man.
I like how Omni-Man, a 1000 year old Viltrum warrior, hides his suit above the window. Honestly, that’s where I would hide my grade report when I was a kid.
It actually is they have super human senses plus they have a very sensitive inner ear which if exploited with a high enough pitch could incapacitate them
@@lasthope3237 I remember Mark stating that superhearing isn't one of his powers. The thing with the ears is that they have a complex "equilibrium"? Which allows them to fly, but no super hearing.
@@lasthope3237 Their weakness isnt hearing, its a device that literally create sound wave strong enough to destroy/disabilitate their equilibrium. Think of shattering glass whit sound wave.
Dude could hide his bloody costume anywhere in mf space. And decides to hide it home. Is this the same guy who managed to lie to everyone for 20 years?
He got sloppy towards the end, hence why he got caught. Actually even when he called them to darkwings hideout, he was sloppy. Didn't calculate red flash's speed. Which is why he failed the initial one shot on The Immortal. If he landed that initial blow, he would not have struggled nearly as hard, actually imagine if he just hit flash first, and went full hit and run in the darkness of the hideout. He could have also singled each out at their homes. (The guardians don't live in some group condo....) He rushed because Mark gained his powers before he was expecting them to grow I think. Not to mention his feelings compromising when he would turn Mark into a proper Viltrumite. To be fair though, in the alternate dimensions section of the comics, it turns out that most versions of Mark end up "evil". Viltrum normally wins.
@@AS-nx9fu I believe there was a scene where Nolan tells Debbie, a part of him wanted her to find out. And once Mark gained his powers, Omniman no longer cared about his pretend life on earth but focused on his Viltrum mission.
One of my favorite parts about this clip is that Omni-Man knows that the government will try to make clones of him so he always makes sure to keep his costumes from them.
Actually, I think he just wanted to keep the government from realizing the blood on his clothes came from a lot of the dead supes, which would make him suspect
His blood was definitely on the floor when they cleaned the Guardians HQ. Mark’s blood is literally everywhere. They definitely have both of their DNA. Although it may be beyond human science to clone viltrumite dna.
Dude when he called her a pet I just thought that was so fucked up. Truly summarizes his nature. Just a double agent, playing a character for what is equivalent to a few days in his millennia long life
Guys, Nolan wanted Debbie to find the suit, it's something that itched in his mind for ages. He kept the suit cause he needed something to pin on Damian but he kept it for Debbie's sake.
Nolan wont break it to Mark until the season finale, perfect cliffhanger. I mean not for those who read the comics but for the show. Where is the part where he took off to get takeout, he took tf off lol.
They really brought across this anxious feeling well, even though he is her husband you can't be entirely sure he wouldn't hurt her. After all, the Guardians thought the same.
@@satanbrony9235 When was the last time you saw Batman do detective work that wasn't just him sitting at a computer? Edit: Or threaten to drop a guy off a building for answers.
@@bossplayz8058 nothing broke about saving that 15 for something else I don't think prime is worth what they offer prime music is garbage And outside of The boys and Invincible and like 10 movies on there it's value seems kinda shit aside from the free 2 day delivery but even that depends on if you use it alot
idk why they are like changing the events of the comic and adding a lot of filler, I think they should stick to the comic which has a lot of "filler" already
I think this was honestly the better call. In the comics, the two big plot points, him killing the guardians and the revelation, are so close together that it feels like too much at once, and like they barely cared about the Guardians, imo
Debbie is one of my favorite mom character's in literally anything. My favorite line of hers is berating mark for threatening her when he was still learning to use his powers.
Why wouldn't omni man destroy his suit after getting it back or better yet have every gaurdians blood on all the other gaurdians. It wouldn't be hard to believe in a fight that if one guys guts explode that shit could get on everyone. A good plan would be that someone called all the guardians to one place and maybe used some kind of chemical or magical spell to make them believe they were fighting villains, and omni man being the strongest would probably be the last man standing.
@@stupidchannelwithstupidvid8750 yeah but you really think he just forgot that he killed the whole team? He knows because he asked for the suit in a commanding manner, he stashed it away. So the question is why stash it away at home? Apparently the suit is invincible (he went to the invincible suit guy to make it after all. so fire and stuff wouldn’t do anything to it only the red rush had gone through it. So why not hide it in another country? Or throw it into the sun?
There’s a lot of people asking why Nolan just left evidence in his house and, to answer that question with another, why does he have to care? Like, at all? Omni man is basically a god and no one can really stop him, so why would he care?
Then he probably should have just started his mission right when he got to earth. And not fall in love, make fucking son, be a hero. So... To much effort for a guy who doesn't give a shit.
@@DvornyashkaDiaries The falling in love, making a son thing was addressed. Didn't you watch the show? His mission as a Viltrumite was literally to go to an assigned planet, procreate, and then if the offspring could develop Viltrumite superpowers, the planet was considered worthy of being taken over. That's why he started taking out the Guardians and preparing to take over the Earth once Mark starts developing superpowers. He only stalled awhile after the Guardians' murder because he was hoping to turn Mark to his side, and then gave up and rushed the murdering-thousands in the finale because people were starting to suspect he killed the Guardians and were trying to catch him out.

Either this is bad writing or something's off here, why would a guy who can literally fly between planets leave the one piece of evidence in his own house.
His suit is literally indestructible by “normal” standards, he has to throw it into the sun but he knew it would take too long and even told his son how far the sun is.
@@ALotOfCancer In the comic, for reasons that will be more apparent later in the series. Omni man is usally referred to by his name, Nolan, for most of the series by majority of the cast. Mark calls him dad and Deb calls him Nolan.
And thats why you should never hide the evidence of your murder inside your house. I would prefer burying it outside in the garden under the oak tree where my child loves to play around.
@@rexerator Darkblood tipped Debbie off that Omni-Man is probably the killer. She found his notes and is looking at the evidence, putting together everything Darkblood suspected.
Him hiding that made no sense because he could have camw out and said it straight up and ain't nothing they could have done to stop him as we later see
It’s really interesting to come back to parts like this because at first, you wonder if Omni-Man is secretly a villain or not the same man who first came to Earth, or something like that. It turns out it’s both. At the same time Debbie is investigating whether or not her husband could be a murderer, Nolan is going about his day while asking his wife about ‘chocolate pastry thingys’ he wants to look up on DuckDuckGo or whatever. Nolan’s a Viltrumite, brought up on the belief that strength is absolute, and if he wasn’t a different person now, he wouldn’t bother going about his day with his family like that. His general behavior would be much less… humane, I guess. He murdered the Guardians of the Globe to get Earth ready for Viltrumite conquest, as was intended since arriving, but during that time he’d been on the other planet, waiting to see if Humans were genetically compatible, Nolan eventually found himself saying something that encapsulates his entire character, paraphrased as, “I didn’t count on being happy.”
