Tertulian coined the term, and the trinity was created by the Roman Catholic Church in the first council of Nicea in 300ad. If you asked the apostles what they thought about the trinity, they would say what trinity? They didn’t teach or know of a said trinity.

John 8:15-18 destroys the entire doctrine of a uni-personal nature of God if I follow your logic that Jesus is the one and only person of the Godhead that represents all titles of God how can the analogy that Jesus refers about the law possibly be true with the application of this doctrine I’ll give you an example say I’m in a courtroom and the judge says to me Tyler son of Jimmy do you have any witnesses to back your testimony and I take a step to my right and yes me Tyler father of my father jimmy do you not see how incoherent and irrational your doctrine is why do you put God in box by the standard of your own finite one being uni-personal existence why can’t God exist in one being and or essence in the manifestation of three separate persons/consciousnesses/minds that are all within union with one and other working all together as the one triune God
As a former member (30yrs), i know that the UPC widely teaches that Trinitarians are pagan in their beliefs which could not be farther from the truth. Most in the UPC have never been properly taught about the Trinity and do not understand it. I am shocked at what they teach and how EVERYTHING revolves around Acts 2:38. If they cannot make scripture fit into Acts 2:38, they ignore it or twist it. They don't know what they don't know.
UPC doesn’t teach that. The facts are the trinity was created at the council of nicea to make Christianity more palatable to pagans. My solution is this. We will see who is right and wrong on judgement day. How about that
Most UPC are ignorant of proper teaching concerning the Trinity given the slanted teaching they receive. Trinitarians are not pagan but are One God believers as well. Whether Trinity or Oneness, both deny that Jesus was a distinct being, separate from Almighty God his father. Jesus says himself that he has a God, in John 20:17, and Rev 3:12. He calls unto his God in Matt 27:46. And Paul and Peter write about him having a God in 2 Cor 11:31, Eph 1:3&17, and 1 Pet 1:3. This prevents him being just another manifestation of God, as taught with Modalism. It also goes against Trinity teaching, as one person of the Trinity cannot be the God of another of the persons.
The problem with arguing with nonsensical trinitarians is they offen quote books like Mathew and Mark which are untrustworthy accounts of the ministry of Christ. Mathew and Luke copied from Mark, who was himself a follower of Paul, who he himself had seen Cephas (Peter), and James (brother of Jesus). Why does Pauls work survive and the only crucial thing we know about peter is someone elses account that he somehow founded the church in Rome and died there (zero historical accounts on this)? Paul gives a lot of evident details that Cehphas (Simon, Peter, Rock) is not all that the Latin Christians wish he was. The 1st and 2nd Peter in NT were infact hoaxes.
From the standpoint of God, there is only unity and oneness; not a duality or a trinity. If it appears to people that there is a duality or a trinity, then they are the victims of deception; because they do not think logically, but according to human knowledge. But if people think according to the knowledge of the spirit, they will find the logic; only human thinking can be incorrect, not God. Creation emanates from God, and a duality or a trinity seems apparent only because most humans in their limited thinking cannot grasp the truth. Since creation is God incarnate, because creation emanates from God; there is no duality or trinity. For that reason: people should make the two or three into one and think and act according to unity and oneness. Only in ignorance does a person fabricate a duality or a trinity and give offence to God. If people say: there is a duality or a trinity, then their knowledge has been addled by some religious cult, falsified teachings or confused thinking. So when religious teachers teach that a person lives in a duality or a trinity, this teaching is erroneous and false; because it is not taught in accordance with God.

Every soul has descended from God in one way or another. At the very inmost roots of our being, everyone is united in ONENESS. Therefore, where do the differences lie? They arise out of the development of species, genetics, conditioning, traditional teachings, customs and educational and family habits of relating with others and the differences in thought patterns.
There is only one God, It is easy to understand. God is a jealous God and no other God to be worshipped. In that sentences it is really impossible to have 3 Gods. I think if we believe to 3 persons in 1 God there could be a problem there knowing that God is very powerful he can do anything alone using his own power.

Gods throne is in heaven. When the world was created, the One God who is a Holy Spirit, spoke through His Word. They are 3 but 1. A body of water. A part of it can be an ice or iceberg. And there is also water vapor that eyes can not see coming from the water and ice. And it will come back again in a form of a rain. They are all H2O. They are 3 in 1.
Is not the crux of this whole issue that God was IN Jesus, not that Jesus was God. God is in Jesus like He is in us, when we love Him and obey Him. The difference with Jesus is, because he is sinless, he manifests Him totally. We manifest Him in part to the world when we love, and obey Him. This is why when Jesus prayed to the Father in John 17:21 he asks that the disciples may also share in the oneness Jeus has with the Father. [21] "that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us". Is this not spiritual talk, spiritual oneness he is speajing of. Did that prayer ask for the disciples to be made God? Of course not. These are spiritual matters. It could be said of Jesus "the Fullness of God dwelled bodily" because of his complete obedience and love of God, and resultant sinlessness. To see Jesus is to see the essence of God - Love. God IN Jesus is like water in a glass. The water, isn't the glass. The water is IN the glass, but it can be "seen" because the glass is transparent and shows it, reveals it, manifests it. I can't believe that people have argued for over 2,000 years about what seems to me such a simple spiritual teaching. If you read the scriptures in the spirit of the language used in the day, it is not difficult at all. I think the stumbling block over the centuries has been that people have tried to understand a SPIRITUAL CONCEPT IN A FLESHY AND LITERAL WAY. And missed the whole point. God SHOWED Himself in Jesus, revealed Himself, AS WE ARE CALLED TO DO. To make Him seen and experienced in this world. The bible clearly teaches in numerous places that Jesus was a MAN who manifested God. No where does it mention a God/Man or a dual nature in Jesus. No where does the early church get taught it in Acts. A manifest, like for a ship, is to SHOW what's on board. To make seen. Paul makes it very clear, especially when he says there is one mediator between God and man, "the man" Jesus Christ. Would he have not said the God/man, or explained they are of "one being". Is it not a spiritual oneness being stressed here? When we love, we manifest God. If we were sinless like Jesus we would also be manifesting God fully. Sadly we aren't, and hence we don't always manifest Him, but Jesus lived a sinless life on Earth, in total obedience and oneness with God's plan and purpose, hence it could be said he manifested God. God was dwelling IN Him because of his love. We are also called to do this. Jesus is our model. When we love, God abides in us. Because Jesus obeyed completely he could also say the Father and he are one. It is spiritual talk, spiritual oneness. Anything else is just flesh and of no real importance. But people are trying to understand this spirit realm in fleshy terms. And failing terribly because they are barking up the wrong tree. Someone wanted to prove pre-incarnate Jesus by quoting the verse. “I saw you fall Lucifer like lightning.!” Jesus was quoting Isaiah 14:12 how you have fallen MorningStar ! Trinitarians go to extremes to try to prove the Trinity!!! I guess Satan wanted to be the fourth member of the trinity Isaiah14:14 I will make my throne among the stars! Luke10:17-18 …. the 72 or amazed that they can drive out demons in Jesus name! Jesus replied & is proclaiming Satan’s defeat! Hebrews1:5-6 God is prophesying he will bring a Son! For Trinitarian’s, God doesn’t know he has a son already from eternity pass! God is ONE the carnal number one not a group of one!
Prov 8 is not speaking of Jesus. This is a figure of speech called personification. If Jesus were wisdom, who is prudence that Jesus dwells with in this chapter and why is wisdom a female?
I am so glad that I found the truth of One God in 1996. The word trinity is no where found in the Bible and its confusing. God is not the author of confusion.
What you have found is not truth but deception. Return to the Truth. Don't be fooled by human craftiness. If you could explain about God, you will be considered creator of God.

But Jesus himself said that "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creatures.......baptizing them in the Name of the FATHER and the SON, and the HOLY SPIRIT...." (Mat.28:18-19). Read the Bible intuitively and try to understand it by the help of the Holy Spirit. Did you ever found the word BIBLE in the Bible either ???
UPCI always critizes other denominations and says its pagan They just sells you that doctrine, no ones says there are three gods but it represents what is in the bible there is only one God obviously but oneness cannot explain the Godhood of Jesus
Its obvious this oneness minister is avoiding the passage on the baptism of Jesus Christ in Matthew 3.Interpreting this chapter and not understanding the Father whose spoke about His Jesus Christ and the Spirit of God descending like a dove.On the cross who was crucified,if we say that the one who died on the cross was God in the flesh and Jesus Christ addressing the Father which also Himself was that not confusing.So the one who was resurrected was the Father and also the Son?
The Father is identified as God, the Son (Jesus Christ) is identified as God, and the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God. So does this means the Bible is full of contradiction. God is one in being and three in persons, that is not a contradiction. A being is that quality or essence that makes you who you are, and a person is that quality or essence that makes you whom you are. If the Bible say God loves, who is he loving before the creation, if God speak who is he speaking to before the creation, Is God all alone before the creation, NO!!!. God from the beginning is in a relationship and thats why we hunger for relationship, we are made in the image of God. Why can you not understand that God is three in one, we are made in his image, we are three in one!!!. We have a body, soul and spirit. It is not a contradiction, thats what God is.
@@Peace-ht7fp the first church were Jewish, the church of the apostles believe in one God. No where in the Bible says 3 in 1 or trinity or eternal son. Show me a baptism in the name of the father, son and Holy Ghost? No where you’ll find that in scripture or tradition. All baptisms were in Jesus name and not in titles.
@@Peace-ht7fp those are titles not the names. All the baptisms were in Jesus name acts 2:38 and acts 4:12 says there no GREATER name that we can be SAVE. Jesus is the name of the father, Jesus is the name of the son (33 years in earth) Jesus is the name of the Holy Spirit. No where to find a baptism by the apostles in those titles
