So yes its a planar navigation system but has the mandatory step of correcting for earths curvature. For claiming the earth is flat its interesting that u navigate using a system that implies a spherical object which you are navigating on. I mean you can try to use celestial navigation without the dip correction and tell me how it went i would really like to know.

When I was 10 years old I was lucky and privileged enough to fly on Concorde. At 60’000ft I remember looking out the window and you could see the blackness of space when you looked up. When you looked down you can see the curvature of the earth. I wish Concorde was still around now it’ll shut these lot up straight away. At that height you can see it yourself.

Because the you’re the stratosphere the atmosphere is a lot thinner at that height. That’s why U2 pilots wear spacesuits .

Sorry, this doesn't debunk anything. I'm not a flat earther or a round earther. I'm a neutral. Could be either way. Still studying it. And even if the Earth was flat it doesn't mean that satellites all of a sudden wouldn't exist, satellites would still exist and still function, but instead of running into this dome the flat earthers believe in. They would simply be powered by solar powered propulsion prices so they wouldn't need fuel. Also, if we are shooting through space at 65000 miles per hour which I personally do not believe, then all of the satellites that are in space would be getting farther and farther from Earth as we would be shooting away from them and space doesn't fly along with us. Also, rockets are still real regardless of the earth shape, they just wouldn't go to the moon. Also, in order to use pictures as proof you have to know that the source they came from is legitimate, and we all know that NASA does lie. Or at least all of us should know. Because they do distort things and jump back and forth on what they said.

5-6 years ago I watched that Eric Dubay show and I did believe it - they didn’t teach me anything about Astrophysics in School growing up - I completed High School and College But the whole thing with flat earth was that if you do your own research - so I did do my own research I kept finding that every “proof” provided to me that the Earth was flat I would look up to see if there was a logical explanation for it - and there always was Then I decided I would do my own experiments and find out - I bought a telescope and wanted to see if I could bring back a Sun that was setting I couldn’t - if the Sun was actually setting I could get a close up but I couldn’t pull it back up from the horizon Things like that started to make me question Eric Dubay - he must have known this as well - this was a big part in his video, was he intentionally being deceitful ? @@JF32304 The "ice wall" of the Flat Earth is actually just a result of the Azimuthal Equidistant Projection where the earth gets unraveled into a disc with Antarctica at the borders. But I think it would have to be much larger than the antarctica we know for the ice wall to be able to hold the water. But they explain it using the "dome" or the firmament in the Bible. What is that dome made of? Ask your father all this.

Never mind the science, the Earth has been navigated, mapped and photographed (which is your fifth bullet point). Scientific theories explain an observation or measurement but the shape and size of the Earth is the observation and measurement. Science can theorise how the Earth is a globe but that it is a globe is the starting observation. it is not science that tells us the Earth is a globe, it's cartography, surveying and satellites.

He's wrong though. Eratosthenes measurements were to estimate the size of Earth, not prove its size. The shape of the Earth had been known at least a century prior to Eratosthenes, by other methods.
