This guy is very educated and squared away explains things well im possibly interested in this im 35 tho but i had no issues at osut 2 years ago definitely was one of the top performers physically and mentally my weakness is land nav i definitely need to work on it................
Fuck man that waiver shit is what gets me. Never had one in my 12 years in but got into some trouble that never really went anywhere in regards to being being kicked out or anything. As a matter of fact ive never heard of a moral waiver. I did get letter of recommendation for my situation but hope it doesnt affect my journey
Took me almost two years to get a waiver to re-enlist. Keep at it, don't give up, do the leg work and if you want it bad enough you will get it. Team Swartz does a great job at providing relevant information to your cause, but don't stop there, utilize what he provides and do your own research as well. Keep in constant communication with your recruiter, provide any documentation requested in a timely manner, professionally, and with the highest quality. If you only have one recommendation, get more.
@@felixtorres6719 thanks brother that's the mindset I have to get into keep pushing, well when it comes to this admin shit. Hahaha. Keep at it brother and thank you once again. If you don't mind what was your waiver issue? Mine might be medical for a lump in my gallbladder and a recruiter not sf recruiter was like take it out fuck it but if you're good then train then take it out after you get done with enlisting Hahaha. I'm like genesis will know hahaha
It is hard to hear Klaus. I wish he would have had a better microphone or empty his mouth. I want to enter the 20th SFG, so seeing you do this topic is EXCITING!!
Do you mean Nick? I felt Klaus was easier to hear and understand compared to Nick. I know audio is most important and I apologize for not having great audio. Hope you still got something out of it… Thank you for watching and stay blessed! 🇺🇸🙏🏼
@@TEAMSWARTZ I should have said both of them, but I believe when I began my comment, I'd yet to hear from Nick! I have heard him speak before, I think for Spiritus Systems, but I definitely got something from your video! I had to rewatch it in in parts. I know there isn't much YOU can do other than send people microphones, which sounds expensive! I am so grateful and very much hope to see another video similar! I don't care if I have to watch it multiple times!! I have MUCH Love for you, Mister!
Yeah I tried staying whole time but phone died. Was this part of it. I had caught it when it was frozen on you. I was on a prior live and had mentioned the 18x and try one and gt score being 100. I'm beating myself up because I realize I should have went guard. More ops and better communication between the community
A year for a waiver? And I can’t even go thru airborne if had a medical waiver pending? I was prescribed an inhaler when I was younger not for asthma, but for allergies one time. I’m sure I’d need a waiver for that
Childhood asthma isn’t going to prevent you from SF… They discuss Genesis and Medical Waivers in the pod if you listen to what they shared… Good luck on your waiver and may the waiver gods forever be in your favor! Thank you for watching and stay blessed! 🇺🇸🙏🏼
@@AcePapi60 Anytime and I appreciate you taking the time to watch and engage in the comments! Stay blessed and Good luck on your waiver and may the waiver gods forever be in your favor!
Best bet is to contact SFC KLAUS and ask him personally. His POC is in the Description and pinned Comment. Thank you for watching and stay blessed! 🇺🇸🙏🏼
I failed my DAT for marijuana at MEPS 3 years ago and have been clean since. I’ve spoken to a few recruiters about waivers for enlistment and even potentially NG OCS. Could I pursue an 18X contract with a marijuana waiver?

OSUT is changing to 16 week cycles! 22 weeks is retarded and unnecessary. Lots of standing around doing dumb sh*t because there isn’t enough curriculum. 16 weeks is more feasible. Just finished one of the last 22 weeks cycles on the 14th of June Alpha 2-58
Is this published somewhere because all 11B I’m enlisting is still 22 weeks? Which tells me you’re not the last class. I’d like it to be shorter too lol
@@TEAMSWARTZ our Drills were telling us that 16 week cycles was coming down the pipeline and that we would be one of the last 22 week cycles to go through. It could be a “this year” kind of a thing. Idk. Just going off what my SDS told our platoon
@@Tougher_Than_The_Rest ah gotcha… Yeah, they been allegedly saying it was going back to 14 weeks since 2015. So at this point, I’ll believe it when I see it.
Why don’t you cover the female in the 20th in Colorado that had a negligent discharge in her apartment. Some saying they pulled her tab why don’t you cover it and let everyone know the truth.
I haven’t heard of that but that sounds like a civil matter if it has escalated to that and even if it was a negligent discharge in her home, has nothing to do with the army and tabs don’t work like that. If for some odd reason an accidental discharge of her personal firearm in her home of record came to light in the Army… worst thing that could happen if she’s in SF is revival to a regular unit but I can only see it being a counseling statement. I don’t know the details but that is minor if it was inside her home with her personal firearm unless the accidental discharge involved an innocent victim hit by the discharged round. Have you ever thought about serving? You have some strong opinions and thought it would be fitting of you to serve seeing how you’re so passionate about military topics…
It was in her home apparently round went through a wall, heard it hit someone, cops called, people wrote articles on it. My buddy trained with a guy in that unit, said unit threatened everyone with article 15s for talking about it. See how well that works- no one cares. Anyhow RU-vidr covered it and I saw in comments someone said they pulled her tab. A buddy of mine went to selection at the same time said she was a non select called all the guys p word referencing female genitalia, refused to carry anything during team week. Was peered out then ran made IG complaint then went through next class right after was “selected” and then completed Q. I guess that General Sonatag that was going after whistle blowers eventually had a court martial and was forced into retirement.
@@namechecksout2396 Interesting story. I’ll look into it but I don’t do reaction videos to current events yet. Maybe in the future. Unless you see it in black and white, take things with a grain of salt. Believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear.
that's strange. Im prior service but you must be over 35 then cus Im 25 and a recent Captain I met who passed the Q was 34 so Im guessing youre over 35. but if not then go to a different state and talk to a different SF recruiter cus no reason why anyone under 35 would get turned away.
What about popping hot for barbiturates from Marijuana residue. So i popped hot but because they found traces of the residue left after thc leaves your system. So the argument was that i was high during annual training where i drive 180 miles daily to take my CO amd 1SG to bub meetings. The barbiturates associated after thc leaves body in fact doesn't make you high or impair motorfunction. Well i sent a letter to my JAG appointed lawyer cause i requested a court martial but aftwr i got letters and explained the science, chem and biology behind thr situations it was never brought up. Supposedly i was on probation that would automatically get lifted after a year. Never signed anything either. How would this play into it. Didnt lose rank either.
I’m assuming if you never was punished for it you should be fine but I’d def be honest about it. I’d def recommend not using anything related to THC/CBC, even if it’s legal within your local area. Their POC is in the Description and I believe I posted it in a Pinned Comment as well. Good luck!
@@JG-yc2fr You’re applying for Special Forces and I am not familiar on what’s acceptable or not for that option but in general, if you fail a DAT in service, it’s commanders description to retain you or discharge you. Based on what you’ve shared… it doesn’t seem like you were punished but he’d be able to see what’s what within your record to make an informed assessment on your eligibility.
@@TEAMSWARTZ awesome. Yeah its was weird especially when I requested the court martial. I will say I learned my lesson haha. Ended up being the soldiers other fuck ups could go to for guidanceon redemption if there was such a thing. Main advise was outta sight outta mind with minimal presence look busy and volunteer for shit you know you can get done and seek positive leadership out. Guess shit bags help other shit bags. Hahah
It’s part of a Pilot Program because every green card holder obtains their U.S. Citizenship by the time they graduate BCT. So, they’re Citizens like any other Naturalized U.S. Citizen who normally applies by the time they begin the rest of their SF training pipeline. I don’t see the issue and I’m confused to why you seem bothered by that… Sounds kind of racist to me…
@@TEAMSWARTZ oh ok. This was an awesome video. Hit on everything and brought more questions to mind i got to ask SFC Klaus. Especially that self selection part and enforcing that they aren't looking for a quota. This is the community I want to be part of. I always thought because I considered myself a shit bag that I couldn't do it but this helped. The bonus thing wasn't a factor but after my job loss it would help but not my reason for wanting to be a Green Beret
