You make me remember my own dream I had a long time ago. As an Austrian, I lived in Haiti for some years in the early 80s, been married to a Haitian woman for 24 years... are you by any chance related to the late Austrian ambassador to Haiti whose name was also Ritter? He was the longest serving foreign diplomat in Haiti.
