Prejudice against white Haitians 

My grandfather is from Baracoa, Cuba. Baracoa had its own white French quarter that spoke French up until the early 21st century and was made up of White Haitian refugees from the war of independence. We have their records from the colonial period in Haiti. Godspeed cousins from across the Guanaba!

I know tons and tons of white Haitians. I always loved seeing my aunt who is a white Haitian coming to Dominican Republicans seeing Dominicans have a funny reaction. Haitians come in all color. I met Asians who are Haitians too. People can be so stupid and ignorant.

Haiti is 95% black and 5 % mixe and white(representing over 500k people). I dont think there is racism toward white Haitians... But in Haiti you would hardly see any Haitians of the 5% standing up, protesting for justice, progress and better living conditions for their compatriots. As far as i know whenever there is a crisis in Haiti, most of them are quick to take the next flight to Florida. So IMO the 5% only claim to be Haitian when it benefits them...but not when it comes to developing their country. Specially considering there is alot of concentrated wealth in that 5% of Haitians. When have we seen them on TV talking on behalf of Haiti?...considering Haiti s history i think many of us would like to see more of them outhere fighting for Haiti. I'm European, not sure why, maybe I don't see all Haitians act aggressive like other folks. I saw the violance, but I saw some very intelligent folks that would do well in a different setting. Living in chaos, turmoil brings out the worst out of people.

I mean, they were enslaved by French… white Haitians mostly have French blood.. so it’s not shocking but it’s not known commonly because it’s a larger African population and higher melaninated.

Hello, I would love to know where is the rest of the video. I wants to here the rest of the last statement. I would love to acknowledge that there are white prejudice, but can you acknowledge that a nation that is over 70% impoverished, white Haitians are not in the mist of that 70%. Haiti doesn't just have color(ism), but also class(ism). Although you can consider white Haitians for color, but please take in to account their class.

Being Haitian can’t be realize without someone’s Afrocentric makeup just as Japan, Sweden , and many other countries.

I think this guy is asking for too much. The European race have been bad news for Haitians for too long for him to be seeking compassion. When Haiti no longer experience the effect of what the European race have done he will receive understanding and compassion
