I was a 33 year old kid in 1973 ,they played Perth aquatic centre on the same bill was FREE. I can still see the kids by the hundreds jumping in when they played smoke on the water, I'm 81 years young this year and still rocking mainly in my rocking chair. Love and peace from Australia 😎🎶🎵🎶✌🖐
same with you,Brother.I am 61 now,Influened by my 1st degree cousin when he was living with us,from tanza cavit now, love SPACE TRUCKIN and HIGHWAY STAR
Wonderful performance!!! Deep purple has always been one of my favorites. I'm 66 years old and I was just a teenager when I first heard them. Loved them then and now. This guitarist serves them well. Ian Gillian the best vocalist and sctreamer ever, Ian Paice terrific all time drummer. I am sorry I forget the bassists name and Jon Lord(may he rest in peace)the greatest keyboard player ever.
@@sibawaiprabowoajiplease excuse me, you are exactly right. At my age(I'm 66)you tend to be forgetful(just using that as an excuse)actually i just mis spoke. Got my Ian's mixed up. Thank you for the correction.
Nobody sings like Ian Gillan. Best singer of all time IMO. And he's so cool that he can come out on stage in bare feet (see live in Anaheim, California 2006). And he's still rocking at 80 years old or whatever. This guy is living proof of potential human immortality!. Awesome. You rock Ian! 🤘
The house of blue light
I'm sorry if I asked the wrong and stupid question, please tell us whether during the Soviet Union it was possible to listen rock songs like this DP, Led Zeppelin, etc.? Also tell us how young people in the Soviet Union era responded to rock music? How to listen to music at that time, are cassettes and Japanese HIFI systems were also widely available there? I really want to know because at that time the Soviet Union it was really difficult to get information about music and anything. At that time, the Soviet Union was really scary for us, but today it is a country that I really admire 🙏
DEEP PURPLE!!!!
Aqui no Brasil. Rio de Janeiro. Tenho 63. ADORO até hoje. Assisti no Brasil ao vivo 5 vezes. 👏👏👏🎸🎸🎸🎸🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I was there!!! Paid something like 24€+2€(presale) for Deep Purple @ the Verona arena plus orchestra and the orchestra director doubled as a very capable violin soloist, plus the whole arena singing smoke on the water together. Probably the best concert for the buck in the universe, ever.
This is great!!! Still performing at the highest level. Loved Deep Purple. Always thought I had missed them but fortunately saw them on the reformed MK2 tour back in 1984/5.
Absolutely amazing. These old guys really rock. I stated the same about The Rolling Stones in one of my videos: YOU TUBE: TOM KITCH "I CAN'T GET NO SATISFACTION" (THE ROLLING STONES).
I always was a Blackmore fun and i still believe that was the best rock quitar composer and great mellody maker but i really love Steve Morse playing and improoving the Purple songs. His confidence and his master playing is anoing, he can play and improove almost everything and for sure is the best quitar player that ever lived in this planet
As much as I love Richie Blackmore playing with Purple BUT I have to admit none of this would be possible if he remained. So am glad he’s out of the picture and Steve Morse is in to stay. Long live DP.
Really love Steve Morse' tone. Smooth violin sustain. Paice and Glover still the best powerhouse duo. Gillian still great in the vocals and Don Airey best keyboardist at par with Jon Lord. Deep Purple hasn't lost it, they are still the best.
I am fun of DP more then 40 years, but Ian Gillan can't sing like he did before, and that is the reason that DP is not performing some old but greatest hits!
@@filmarvesna I too! I play guitar, and to me Blackmore is the best ihn the world. Steve Morse is a fantastic guitarist from USA. My fave album is BURN! Adieu
