Don is a great keyboard player but he take all the stage, he have to know he play in a band, not solo concerts... Not only in thsi video, every live performace he do introduction and he take all the stage... The real keyboardist (Jon Lord, did not do that, not even Ritchie with the guitar, although they were two virtuosos).

Airey n Morse both fill big shoes quite well

1972 this Song did not exist. The Perfect Stranger Album was a new and brilliant chapter of the band.

Я тоже считаю что это лучшая рок группа. С детства ее слушая, вначале на магнитофоне который заработал в 15 лет на работах в стройотряде. А что творится сегодня - запад хочет воевать с Россией . Россия раздолбает запад, как раздолбала Гитлера и Наполеона. Они не понимают, что весь народ встанет. И не плохие союзники - БЕЛОРУСЬ, КНДР, ИРАН (Хейсбола), СИРИЯ и тд. Мало не покажется. Европа будет в огне. Зачем это вам это надо? Крым и Донбасс - это Россия.

Not really one of the best ranges, he got very strong technique behind his falsetto. In modal register he's pretty decent baritone and relied more on launching the notes than supporting them in sustainable way. Later years he started to sing from his nose and added very much strain on the voice, which is very bad habit and it isn't very controlled. The same bad habits that you could sustain in young age will do havoc on your voice, if you never unlearn them. That is pretty much the case with Gillan. I think when talking about technical perspective, Gillan moves in pretty mediocre standards, but he has good sound for Deep Purple's style, except for the parts where he sounds like squealing pig when trying the hit a high note. If we're talking about amazing range in rock music back in the classic rock era, let's mention Freddie Mercury, Bruce Dickinson and Rob Halford, who had impeccable technique, range and sound. They had their problems and bad habits too, but they managed to keep the sound pretty decent and learned to work around their voice while aging.

@@benadam7753 Well, some of people got good genes on how to sustain a voice in older age. It's biological function for men to lose their range or their voice gets lower after 50-60 years old. Male voice is usually at its prime in about 30 to 35 years till 50 to 60 years. At senior age male's larynx starts to harden and it leads to make the sound more brittle and high range just doesn't cut the way it used to be. In other words, if some dude can't sing in 60 years of age like he sang in his 20'ies or 30'ies, it's a biological evolution of instrument and it can't be stopped. In some cases the voice gets more pleasant when getting old (in example Paul Simon, Gary Brooker etc.), but it's more subjective thing, who's listening then. But it's cool if some 70+ year dude can still kill it.
