Nah. Superman Returns was a continuation of Reeve's Superman series. Routh nailed it despite crappy writing and directing, and was a damn good Kingdom Come Supes in Crisis. MoS is better suited as a "learning his powers" movie than Returns.

Brandon Routh was perfect as Superman, but over shadowed by poor writing.

Tim Nelson last time I checked human beings are also entitled to opinion. Bro if you love smallville then good for you. For me, it failed to serve its purpose which was to show how Clark became Superman. Argue with me all you want but a CGI superman is not the same thing and its all because of Tom’s unwillingness to be seen in costume. So yes I I was not contented with how it ended and my feelings are valid.

@@genocide222 it's purpose was to show a teenager finding out who he really is and showing us superman was too easy. They literally said this and planned this before the pilot even came out.

@@timnelson7689 Actually they planned for Tom to where the suit WAY before the finale, but he refused. He was even goin to refuse the Crisis cameo, if they made him come back as Superman, but when he saw the script as Clark on the farm he really enjoyed it. And let's face it Tom's not hittin any Big Hitters on the Big or Small screen these days, so he took it.
