hooking behind the leg is soooooo much fun. it frustrates the opponent a ton - and it is like always there usually especially when they go to stand up. there are also a lot of sweep and attacks you can do from there. when i play a lazy closed guard, my legs naturally just start sliding down the thighs and hook behind their legs. it actually makes it a lot easier to maintain the guard when i do so especially on much larger and wider opponents whom i can't even wrap my legs around
