The defense delivers their closing argument on Tuesday, July 9 at the trial of Michael Jackson-Bolanos, who is accused of murdering Samantha Woll at her Detroit home in 2023.
I heard the DEF attorney while DEFENDANT on stand and he was absolutely horrible, and client's story/actions made zero sense. Gross incompetence for even letting Defendant take stand, UNLESS HE INSISTED, figuring he could weave a tale which at least one juror might believe. I don't know outcome, but stated it's not going to end well. I'd be shocked if NOT GUILTY at this point.
He's a career criminal that would be going to prison if he got caught stealing or breaking into cars. He was doing that on that night. Send him to prison for that at minimum. We don't need people like that in society. But I think he's guilty as hell for murder.
@@MikeBrown-mm4di He obviously insisted on taking the stand , probably against his lawyers advice . but that can also prove ones innocence , in that he has nothing to hide.I think this maybe a crime of passion
He is a good thorough lawyer definitely working for his client and not secretly for prosecution like most court applications attornys....this guy must cist alot of money cause he is actually fighting hard for his cloent.
@@norahmahamed339 Exactly inside her home would of been like a pirate finding treasure for a petty thief. this is a crime of passion , a lot of anger was inside the killer
Yes I believe she is in cahoots with the state as well at the other biased judge Michael was talking about on that audio …. She is so biased she shouldn’t be there and she’s tainting the jury like this should be illegal
I think they know he did it man it don’t make sense that they ain’t investigate him they so lazy they rather put it on who ever it seems did it…. America justice system flaws are on full display with this case and ysl …
How did the police and detectives drop the ball when it came down to the ex-boyfriend? I am a live-court-trial Junkie - this is the only time I have seen a potential suspect, the ex-boyfriend, outsmart the police, detectives, and got immunity! I have watched seasoned detectives, some of the best, and if Jackson repeated those words, the ex-boyfriend repeated and said he smoked a blunt and was delusional. In my opinion, the ex got away with murder - RIP Samantha ❤️
This man is totally innocent, but his the poor black man. His the man in a place at the wrong time. Most who committed murder will not go on the stand. I don't defend killers on social media, but this man is innocent. The prosecution, the police make me sick. Why would a cop tell the crime scene investigators NO NOT THERE, here 😮?? What about the blood in the bsmt ? It was not even tested. Who admits to murder before the cops tell u why ?? Later oh i had a mental brake down?? It doesn't make sense, she rejected him and he couldn't handle it , thats whats up
Totally agree…. I’ve never heard of an ex boyfriend getting immunity after an confession, the ex boyfriend’s parents talked to the investigators told them that their son was high and have mental issues
The prosecution trying to make this brotha out to be a serial killer overnight, which is insane. He doesnr know anything about killing anyone let alone his first time killing a human being hes going to get up close and personal and stab someone to death. Yeah right
Watch the entire trial & you’ll find out why. You asking that question tells the world you didn’t watch or follow the trial or you would know exactly why.
At least he was able to speak properly in the closing arguments. The entire trial he sounded as if he didn’t make it through the 6th grade with his slang.
He’s lucky to have such a literate and intelligent supporter. It reflects well on him. Are you an attorney? Or maybe a scientist? Shame the jury can’t hear your impressive defense We know people by who vibes with them. You sound just like the future he deserves. Cellblock B Zero self- respect.
@@NYJean55 that’s not what happened. But you can push that as a fact. It will add more fuel to the outrage and blaming after he’s convicted by a jury that listened to the evidence. Or maybe you’ll score and an order dangerous thug can move next door to your Mama.
@@NYJean55that’s a bunch of BS. The FBI and local LE both investigated the ex after he came forward & said he felt he did it, he didn’t remember it, but thought he had to do it, although they found zero evidence of the ex. However, the defendant lied the entire time & even told on him self saying he was staying hidden the entire time, and then after lurking & hiding in the shadows, but then goes up to someone, from a distance, & walks up to them & then finds they are dead. Someone trying to hide the entire night, as we watch him do this, & all of a sudden he’s going to go talk with a neighbor in the homes. They can’t prove anyone else was there, not one person before him or after him. For you to be claiming that it’s the ex because he confessed, but on the same hand say it’s not this man, after he lied the entire time about ever seeing her, touching her, nothing, although evidence shows he did do all this.
Crime of passion from ex-boyfriend is not the same as stealing cars. Why would the defendant do this? People lie all the time but this is a whole another level.
He did not do it! No way. He was spotted checking cars out on the night off. How is he going to do a 180 and just find a random apartment with 1 person to not even rob but kill. Jesus please let this bizarre case get resolved.
I love this public defender Mr. Brown he goes hard for his clients especially when he knows they are innocent and his client MJB is 100%. INNOCENT!!! Michaels’ (MJB) MO is stealing objects from cars that are already unlocked. He doesn’t smash windows he doesn’t break handles he doesn’t steal the cars to drive away, he simply checks for unlocked vehicles and if unlocked he ram sacks them steals valuables then moves onto the next. There is not one violent history in his arrest records. This is man is innocent. The prosecutor and the lead investigators failed to do their job. They were lazy and chose to take the easy way out. They chose the black Man because they knew everyone would judge him guilty before trial even started. Instead of doing their JOB and going with the obvious theory they went with the known car thief that just happened to be in the area because he looks bad on paper. He is a thief . Yet he didn’t steal not ONE thing from her. THERE IS SO MUCH REASONABLE DOUBT IN THIS CASE THAT ITS EMBARRASSING THAT THIS COUNTY PUT THIS INNOCENT MAN ON TRIAL. there was a person who ADMITTED TO THE MURDER. That in itself should have shown the prosecutors there was way too much work to be done. Why didn’t they zone in on the guy walking his puppy? Hes white that’s why. Why didn’t they choose the guy who admitted to the murder? Oh wait it’s because he’s Jewish and white and rICH and can hire powerful attorneys. Why did they zone in on Michael? He’s black, he likes cars with valuables. Has he ever stabs or killed anyone? Is he a violent offender? NO HE IS NOT HIS CRIMES ARE VICTIMLESS!!! This is a joke of a trial and the prosecutor should be ashamed of himself. It’s cases like this that birthed the very saying “WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME” this is an innocent man that could end up in prison for life and it’s a travesty!!!
@@yourkeysreuse context clues. He posts in the Telegram group, to see if someone puts up a “bounty” (for lack of a better term) for him to steal the whip and deliver, and the contents inside are just icing on the cake for him. You gotta focussss
@@SamDaze17 He already said, in his testimony, that he was taking pictures of a car, that he might want to steal later. I said, on that particular night, he wasn't stealing cars.
@@SamDaze17 I was curious. If she was killed, like the prosecutor said, why would she have a hoodie and gloves on at 4:20 am in the morning 🤔 I thought they said, she was stabbed through the coat.
Why is the Judge sleeping! OMG Really!!! She slept through the Opening and Closing and all in between. It almost feels like she has a staff member with a buzzer to wake her up. She is the only one missing the trial. It's incredible, she also looks like she is not taking this case serious and impartially, I noticed her staring into the Prosecutions face while the Mr Brown was making his case in a sidebar. She seems disconnected. Just my observation. He is not guilty!!!! And I love how Mr. Brown showed a blow up of Jeff Running away from the Murder scene. That's Jeff the EX to a T, down to the glasses, he needs to be charged in this murder! Jeff already admitted it, He confessed !!! WTF
I'm just watching the judges face and how she is clearly looking at the defense attorney like, dude you are killing it right now! I say charge him for lying to police charge him for false report charge him for petty theft but do not find this man guilty of murder! he did not murder this woman!
Where is the blood from 8 stab wounds? Why was the ex-boyfriend so panicked? I know alot of mentally ill peoplre on medication that has never admitted to k*lling someone. And he's still nervous as what to say...saw that as he was being questioned. Perry Mason could figure this out
Totally agree with you on this…..Samantha stopped seeing the ex boyfriend…he confessed then his parents made him recant because he was high? Why immunity given to an ex?? Money vs. a black Detroit man.
He didn't say she was black bc her hair texture had already let him know she was another ethnicity. The prosecution case is weak. 1. Motive? 2. Why over kill? 3. Timeline of why her body was "cold & crusty" when he touched her? 4. Why ex-boyfriend admitted to k*lling her when the lady officer ask him to step out of his vehicle? He nearly wet his pants 5. How long does it take a body to be hard? 6. How much blood was around her? 7. Why would he touch her without gloves when he spen all night making sure he didn't touch door handles without gloves? 8. Why her car? What type of cars did she have? 9. Did the girlhfriend see him with a backpack before he left home or in the car?
@@deedled4879he leaned over her to check her pulse if he killed her that jacket be covered and stained not just a smudge of blood. She also fought her attacker he’d be scratched up
Here is where everything goes wrong just like the karen read ,they do not allow the specialist to do the crime scene. THE COPS ARE DIRECTING THE CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATORS 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮WTF KIND OF CORRUPTION IS THIS
Totally different case than with Karen Read. The followed up & investigated the ex boyfriend, thoroughly, & even held him In jail for weeks while they did the investigation. This man absolutely was out that night, up to know good, with his phone lit up and tracked with hers at the same time. Totally different circumstances altogether.
@@dudemorris7769 her boyfriend admit it everything but his got money and Jewish. Please don't tell me different. This black man is innocent, he robbed cars, he didn't even know her or murder her. They didn't even take samples of the blood in the bsmt. U have not listened to anything
@@rec.thecriticLMAO, you don’t know for fact he’s innocent or not. If he was innocent, he would have admitted to the police at any time during any one of these interviews that he infact did see the deceased woman. His own testimony is what will get him found guilty if the jury comes back with a guilty plea. Thankfully I have legal experience & have done more court cases than the majority of all these wannabe YT armchair attys & detectives. They held the ex boyfriend, which if you truly did watch the entire trial, you would know this, along with all the investigation they did to try to match the ex boyfriend to the crime, and wanted to. It would have been much easier to lock up the boyfriend & solve the case. They aren’t going out of the way to pin it on a “black man”, a 3x felon on car thefts alone, not to mention more than 10 years of continued arrests for other crimes. Had he been honest about what he saw & that he touched her that early morning, he wouldn’t be on trial. His own denial & continued lying is what got him charged.
Yalll 😮 whoever did this was moving around the house when Sam stepped out to vape around 1235 to 1238 (back door closed) remember the ADT registered idle (no further motion detected) at 124--> which means CONSTANT motion detected until about 122am. The same time some is running away from Sams home around 123-124
Bru him only having blood on the “back” of his sleeve which is consistent with touching her to check to see if she was alive, is enough proof for me that he didn’t do it. From the crime photos he shoul have traces of blood everywhere especially on his shoes
They had surveillance cameras as i thought, so if they have video footage of her, why not the person that entered the apartment before she was unalived? 🤨
Did the ex boyfriend have that first interaction with the police before they arrested the man who’s being accused and on trial now? Was it public knowledge that she was dead before the ex admitted to all that? If it wasn’t, how else would he have known?🤔🤔🤔
I'm glad he has such an amazing lawyer! This man is NOT GUILTY of murder!🙏🙏🙏Theft, yes but, he did not kill that woman. Unfortunately, he will probably do time for theft but he better be found NOT GUILTY in this case! Shame on them for trying to pin this on him! Arrest the ex-BF MURDERER!!!
Michael Jackson Bolanos is guilty of petty theft and of going into cars, but I believe that he did not commit murder. Having circumstantial evidence does not equate to one being guilty & there is way too much reasonable doubt. The Prosecution did not do a good job of proving that Jackson-Bolanos is guilty and they have the burden of proof. In addition, the Police Officer Chad Ossman (hope I spelled it correctly) was acting questionable on the stand when both the Defense Attorney & Prosecution asked him for clarity...Please find the real individual that committed the crime. Justice for Samantha Woll 🙏🏿
The amount of people in these comments saying they don't take the defense atty. Serious because of his hair is astounding. Listen here people, that is called a micro aggression and it's racist. His hair has nothing to do with his intelligence or ability to do his job. Just listen to his argument, it's great.
Is there a time that the pathologist gives for time of death. As you hve Jackson on cctv, would that not be relevant to time of death of this woman, and make him innocent of this murder. As I see it, Jackson did not kill this woman as he was buzy trying to break into cars clearly seen on cctv, that he was on the move and in clear sight of cameras, there was not a break in him not being on camera. He was walking around and never stopping for a long period. If he did do it he would have been off camera for sometime which is not indicated here. His mistake was checking on her and then putting himself in a very difficult situation. I pray you do get acquitted.
Well good luck with your case, the defense attorney definitely did his job and probably the prosecution job as well so sounds like to me at least that they meaning the prosecutor’s need to relook at the facts and evidence and charge the correct person who we all know who it is as well as they do so instead of putting the wrong person in prison for the wrong crime and not giving the family justice and closure is in fact an injustice to society
