Coach Prime is the perfect combination of flash & substance, of old school & new school. He HAD TO serve notice not necessarily on those Colorado players, but on the obvious spirit of mediocrity that many there have accepted! Everyone wants the end result, but few are accepting of embracing the “break down” period necessary before things can be built back up to perform better. Best believe that those who don’t cry and run off, that embrace the breakdown time will in time be enjoying fun times with Coach Prime.

With his children now entering adulthood, he's coming for the Top College Football Coach title.. the type of crowd like your Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, Harbaugh, Kirby, Swinny etc. this is what you get when you coach a winning CFB team. Ultra respect within the sports world. He can do it and help alot of kids along the way. he's going to elevate Colorado football to prominence in 2-5 yrs.

Not a buffs fan. Just here to say Deion Sanders is my all time favorite NFL football player. A lot of folks didn't like DS because he was allegedly known to talk too much... I might have felt the same way if I hadn't watched Deion trot out on the ball field and back-up everything he said.

These kids now know what being divorced feels like... one day someone you looked up to walks in and says you're not wanted here no more. I feel terrible for these kids. Their world is falling apart and Deion is dumping all over them. Yes, I rooted for Deion's demise all season... I'd love to believe it helped his downfall. I have no idea what was going on with Colorado football before Deion arrived but those kids had a look on their faces as if they have accepted not winning and having fun and I suspect other coaches who coached there only did so for a paycheck because the body language some of those kids displayed just said losing is acceptable and I guess they chose Colorado because they had no other offers but that facility is beautiful so I have no idea how they couldn't get kids there to play. Now like Deion said not only am I gonna show up but Imma show out and that's what he did when he played. The other thing I liked is when he said yep quarterback coming, yep 10 more coming and they dogs and they gonna hunt and they gonna eat meaning he wants guys who bring it and play and act like they want it.

As he was speaking, I saw the looks on some of these kids faces...I know what he was doing...He was looking for the weak ones to just simply walk away and the mildly weak ones to bitch and moan, then walk away...He probably had 90% of those kids ready to run to the portal and it worked...He's right, if you don't have confidence in yourself why should I waste my time looking for it?!...That was a smart tactic because the one's with ♥ would've been in the gym and working out getting in killer shape waiting for him to get back and officially take over after he was done with JSU...He scared them into the portal...I would've been in class and then taking my meals in the gym then went to bed for 6 straight months...

Well it's a very old school approach. But don't know if it is the right to way to treat the current players on the team.. The team gave him a nice welcome ovation and Deion basically ignored it. Then Deion told them they are pretty much unwanted, and he wants to get rid of them.. and try to make them quit. I think Deion wants to bring in his own players.. If I were on that current team.. I would hit the portal and find a better place to play.. A place where you are appreciated and play for a coach that wants you there.

Aside from the financial package offered remember he had love, respect, and trust from the citizens of Mississippi and Jackson State University. Aside from what Sanders may or may not do he created a major distraction before the SWAC championship and the upcoming bowl game. Then you have his son Shiloh Sanders who did not suit up and play in the SWAC championship because of his dads last minute switch to Colorado not to mention Shiloh Sanders is not eligible to transfer to Colorado because he already used his portal rights to get to JSU.
