Idk if you ever done mushrooms or lsd but they can get so scary that you’ll never want to do them again😂 that’s where there are 0 episodes of people addicted to mushrooms on the show intervention. Psychedelics will make you want to quit everything and take care of yourself and beg to be sober while it’s happening sometimes. I think they are good because there is a 50/50 chance they will make you feel way worse. Drugs like H, crack and alcohol ect all are to make you feel “good” and that’s why they are so dangerous and addictive

A person who says “I always wanted to try it”, is a person that doesn’t care anymore about life. I wanted to try so many things because I was deep hurt and desperate to stop feeling the void inside of me and I did it and it only worsen my emptiness. I just hope in the future most people understand how hard it is to stay sober, how the brain changes to the point it’s not the person anymore taking the decisions but the drugs, everyone needs love and a hug, I just hope all the people out there with this incredibly hard problem can reach help. Even if you’ll never be the same again. You can reborn again.

i don’t think people give her enough credit for being this open and brave about drug use. a lot of celebs suffer in silence Edit: Ignore the comment section, its just people who think that because she is rich and a celebrity, her addiction was just "glamourizing" and not as hard or important as their addiction was. And this is coming from a dirt poor former addict themself, so I know it's just bullshit. Everyone's story matters and addiction is hard for everyone, they are just bitter for no reason and have nothing but hate to spew into the world, which you think would be different considering they themselves went through it, but apparently they went through it much harder and their story matters, not anyone elses, celebrity or not.

I felt bad for him because she was having a hard time going down on him while I was plowing her rear end. I started really slowly but she kept asking me to give her everything I had. The next day her husband was laughing about how she was screaming like a banshee. She wants to do it again, but I'm not going to lie, her face has acne scars all over. It's her choice just as easy as it is to fall into peer pressure. People in a group will often do things that they would never do alone, whether you are on the giving or receiving end of it. If you are on the receiving end, you're inclined to feel less bad about it because people pressured you into it. At the giving end, you feel less guilty for pressuring someone into doing something because you were not the only one. The guilt is always shared.

They either have the same problem of addiction or they are naive to how addiction works. It’s very easy for us to condemn others being that we have a vastly objective viewpoint here on the interwebz. People are very good at convincing others that they’re ok. I’m sure many of those friends look back and feel guilty. But, Demi is responsible for herself and she demonstrates that very well in these clips. When you are an addict, it doesn’t matter if friends are egging you on or pleading with you to stop. Once that switch is flipped, absolutely nothing will stop you. Not even total isolation.

We all have differences in our biology as individual human beings, the real reason for the attraction to drugs varies greatly in each addicted or dependant person, for a start a persons perception of His/Her senses vary so much from person to person, I argue that addiction is not a disease at all, I think it is the BIGGEST mistake in the fight to help people get clean. There are so many different reasons that people choose to use drugs. Person A may feel normal before they decide to take drugs, and just want to party harder and they just use at certain events. Person B May be depressed or have mental health issues and desperately needs to numb their pain. Person C May be really shy and seeks to become more confident and a certain drug may really help them. Person D This person may just want to feel as messed up as possible and will take just about anything to get high. Person E May be using drugs to improve performance in anything from sports to having focus and getting less distracted. Some people want drugs for perverted sex acts and want to feel turned on. Person F May have a combination of the above.. But all of these persons plays with the risk of being addicted and their addictions will vary in many ways, like some people may not have morals, they steal they rob people, they do anything to get drugs, they may hide behind the addiction disease theory, but really they are just scum and will lie at any chance to get drugs, these people give drugs a really bad name. Some people can get along fine without drugs, some people can get along feeling really active and happy most of the time, but unfortunately, some people lack certain brain chemicals that help to generate happiness and or have other problems with the brain and use drugs as if they are their own doctor only trying to fix a problem that other medical means have failed (I am in this category, I have schizophrenic episodes, and am scizotypal with severe depression) so I lack enthusiasm when I am without my drug, a drug that a lucky prescription helped me find that works to eliminate almost all of my illness. these people are in a totally different group than the above but can still obviously become addicted and their reasons to take drugs may change. Some people in this last group may just live miserably and accept it, but for some it is just too disabling therfore the notion is set to find a way to feel good. If it is a really bad situation and no other treatments have worked, even the nicest of people will seek to experiment with drugs. Once a mentally sick feels healed with a type of drug, life can seem worth living, enthusiasm is back and the depression has gone and all is great.. until the drug wears off.. Then a person can feel even worse than before they used drugs. WHY HAVE SCIENTISTS NOT INVENTED A CLEAN DRUG THAT HAS NO HORRIBLE SIDE EFFECTS THAT JUST MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY ARGHHHH. If happiness and feeling content is present most of the time then the desire to live is back, and the energy to do whatever is back, and all is fixed. Anti depressants are not the answer for me, for 99% It may help a bit but a stronger sense of feeling content is needed for the really ill people. And it doesn’t have to be forever but if you’re struggling with addiction as I have come on and “stay with the rest of us for a little while”

I'm a recovering addict & work in treatment, it's taught me a lot. It's really hard for me to respect her when she had promoted being 'California Sober'. Honestly, someone like me who's done hardcore drugs, it's hard for me to believe she's been only been able to smoke weed. It always starts like that, one drink or just weed. I've seen it a thousand times. I know 'everyone's different' but that's not clean & sober. I hope she's still doing well, but I wouldn't say she's person to look up to, especially when it comes to staying clean. That's just my opinion, no hate. Just working with people suffering, that's not something you promote. She's a celebrity, so she had all the money in the world to be and to mess up & go back to rehab. For a lot of people, they have one time to get their shit together, & if they relapse, it's over.

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be surprised if Demi is still using because when she tried all those drugs it’s really hard to quit. I know how powerful these drugs are. I just hope she stays clear of “H” that’s not surprisingly can be laced with fentanyl that will kill you. Going to rehab is great ONLY if the addict wants to quit. If they don’t, once there out of rehab if they were forced into treatment by the courts, they will get “high” and be an addict again. Being an addict will be always be a challenge as we don’t know when life and our attitudes will change over time. Those triggers we get, that will lead us down the wrong path of destruction to ourselves again. I hope Demi has a good support group setup, so she can stay sober for the rest of her life. ❤️

Including all drugs since I started at 11/12 yrs old...and went through the alphabet of drugs...now I'm 41 and clean from them ALL!!! But only this year it's happened...where I got to the "Had Enuf, I'm Done" time!! No1 understands y I look 29 at 41 with the life I've led...must b good genes!!! Cos I've never had money...never had any healthy lifestyle, opposite infact...been homeless...living in a tent with my then b/f, got abused at 11-13 sexual, sold my body as an escorts for 10yrs (for heroin&crack or coke)...I was a junkie! On snowballs!! I was on the edge...overdosed on crack/coke 4 times and had fits...but didn't care if I lived or died. Glad I'm out other side this year but fk was it hard...but u now I don't have ANY interest in drugs!!! Now my strong willpower is back...like I always had b4 Heroin...cos that's the main 1 that obliterates ur willpower. None b4 it did. Then snowballing heroin & crack together in needle is even worse...that changed me ENTIRELY!!! In every way! I cud EASILY write a massive book on my life. Thus is only tip of iceberg!!!

@@eliatorres2486 if you understand addiction at all then you would understand it is an incurable disease. Someone cannot simply stay sober and be in so much trauma, pain etc and stay clean alone for strangers they don't know. It has to be one's choice. Relapse is a part of many addicts journey, mine included. She also has mental illness which she openly talks about and that is also not curable. You seem to lack understanding, knowledge and empathy for those who aren't like you. There are a lot of great resources to educate yourself on mental health and addiction. You can also sit in NA meetings etc to learn and understand about addiction and rhe program. Its easy to judge or feel a certain way about something you don't experience and don't have to struggle with. I was clean fir 10 years and relapsed...unfortunately it happens to many, what matters is always trying again and that she seems to want to do. Also if you watch her documentary she takes ownership over her choices but explains what lead to it. Funny thing. Drug addiction is linked to higher IQ. And drugs are over stigmatized. At least heroin is. Meth and crack crack cocaine not so much. Whenever you see people stumbling like a zombie that’s probably not heroin by itself. It jus doesn’t do that. Fent or a Xanax + heroin mix. People want experiences. It’s not like you put a needle in your arm 1 time and your life is destroyed. It takes A LOT of heroin to get addicted within a month, even as “highly” addictive as it is. People push through and keep on using even when they know they are doing too much, erode they start experiencing withdrawals. All responsibility is on the user, and not on the drugs.

It's such a big deal, to hear one of the greatest singers of all time, coming out and saying without fear of their mistakes, and issues with drugs, because it is people without shame like that and tolerance for people like that without as much money, that need rescued from the Prison system really truly helping this problem, So Thank You Demi. It's people like this that are going to positively affect law changes, to make possession of drugs decriminalized which is highly called for these days. We can't as a society be statistically analyzing crimes, using jail sentences, of people that are not criminals, for the sake of false worry of reoffending that are only doing damage to themselves not acting like a criminal, so society traps them for their whole lives with labels like criminal and worse, being called dangerous menaces . Does Demi Lovato look dangerous? No. British Columbia is decriminalizing drugs 2023 January, and the rest of North America will follow eventually.

The easiest way to stay sober is to never try hard drugs , you never know if your body and brain will be able to not get addicted to it . Why would you risk it knowing that could be the begging of the end for you

Talking about addiction and doing nothing- not staying away from drugs, dismantling her schroom room, gling out to meet real people, volunteer in shelter for homeless, for animals, in orphanages, in hospitals, old peoples homes. Thats what she should do. Fire all her employees. They are only enablers. Go camping, hiking, living in nature. Not 5* hotels. In tent. Feel the earth. pick your food. Feel alive. She feels dead inside.

I think no matter how many times she falls it’s very brave to come clean every time especially publicly. She is letting others learn and grow from her mistakes. Fame and fortune doesn’t mean you don’t have problems.

It’s crazy I’ll never forget that day, I went into labor with my daughter on July 25 2018. She was born addicted to methadone, but she was such a miracle baby, they thought she’d have to go to the NICU. They kept her an extra 24 hours after I was discharged and I was with her in a little room during that entire time. The drs and nurses never saw anything like this before. They would do a scoring to see how bad she was detoxing. If she had hit an 8 3 x’s in a row then she’d have to go to the NICU. Instead her score went from 8,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 over night! So for those that don’t believe in a higher energy or positive prayer I feel sorry for you. I surround myself that have me and my family’s best interest at heart. To make a long story longer, I had ODed for the first time in my life by sniffing 1 bag. I was in traffic and last I remembered was hitting the brakes and I was out. When the cops came they said I was purple from the neck up. So I go to the hospital and they asked is there a chance ur pregnant. I said no, well it came back positive. And the only sexual experience I had, I was raped. I know the kid who did it and his father was the head detective of the state police in my area so I couldn’t even go against him if I tried. I decided to keep her, and now she’s a beautiful little red head with bright blue eyes and curly hair like Shirley Temple. She now has a father, he came into my life when she was about 14 months, and I had known him 4 years prior to that otherwise I wouldn’t have allowed him around my angel. I did everything by myself in the beginning. Including giving birth. My mother came right after I had her but I’ll never forget

I think it started when she was in Barney that she lost a part of herself. Child actors are never the same when they grow up. I'm glad she was able to share her truth.
