Was undecided between this and the DI-2112, but preferred a smaller, more compact pedal with almost the same features. And I really don't like the fact that the DI-2112 doesn't have a bypass switch for some reason
@@OliverTobyn I'm torn between this and the DI-2112 as well. Not sure I need all the added bells & whistles the 2112 has. Seems a bit over-complicated for my needs so this one may be better option..
I have this pedal. I like it, but for the band I'm in now, the MXR M80 was more appropriate (needed two channels for the wide variety of cover material). I find the YYZ really excels at always-on driven tones more so than clean.
Hey I’m getting into having a bass setup . I was wondering, is it possible to hook up a bass directly into interface and also have bass pedals in the chain? So like a bass into an eq into a compressor into an interface? Is that a chain that an interface input wouldn’t accept? I don’t know if only certain pedals Like pre amp pedals can be hooked into an interface or if you can hook anything up? Frankly a lot of the amp emulators sound too bright or compressed to me and I feel maybe a DI with a light eq and compression may feel better for me I’d appreciate the help I just honesty am a bit confused about DI recording
Sure, it works like any other pedal, so you can have as many as you like before and after it and into an interface. I would recommend the preamp be the last one because some pedals don't work well with high gain going through them
