Nurk had a great game tonight. Forced Jokic to play defense. Too bad they lost, but in a playoff series you need to make great players play defense in the hopes of slowing them down or picking up fouls. If role players beat you then kudos to that team, but that’s usually your best shot to beating great teams.

@@Vortex_Feedz injuries/load management. It’s beyond aggravating. Every game someone comes back and another goes out with an injury. The result is having to see KD try to hero ball them to a victory every night because he has nobody to help facilitate the offense and every possession ends up with either a turnover or somebody scoring on their own without being set up to score. You don’t see any motion offense/ball movement where players are being found off cuts or rolls for layups or lobs. It’s just feed Nurkic and Nurkic passes it back or tries bullying his way into the paint without losing control of the ball, let KD iso, or somebody else will just attack the basket only to end up passing it back out. KD was completely out of rhythm in the whole second half and if that happens, the team has no rhythm because the offense runs through him. That’s why the run they made never was sustained to taking the lead. He shot them out of the game and they can’t actually run any play actions without a point guard.

I agree. This team cant function properly without booker. And they do not have a shot at winning big games without the big 3 playing. Yet i have to say, their role players are very good. I had an expectation that they will have a thin roster but they did a good job of surrounding their stars with decent role players. Finally, i do not expect them to win the west 😢

That's the reason Bron always has an edge over KD. Their scoring is basically neck to neck, but when it comes to Q4, Bron is the one that can control the game and bring you the W.
