Ambers Dr sounded like a actor who had forgotten her re-hearsed lines, and Elaine was there to steer her back to the script by carefully, but without saying her lines for her, reiterated the story back on track...several times reminding her of lines she had left out😆

I respected her as a professional when she first came on, and after hearing what she had to say, I lost all respect for her. She was just telling the court everything Amber told her. She came off as a fanatical quack!

The Gender Bias of Dr Hughes is laughable. The way she always said she and her when talking about Victims and he and him when talking about the abusers. It's unbelievable that she could be called an expert. How much was she paid?

Hughes demonstrates one of the biggest risks, and worst abuses of her field when using her credentials as justification for expressing her personal opinion as fact. She doesn't refer to the specifics of diagnostic testing, or DSM designation based on that data. She is applying general assumptions and group statistics as a specific incidence rather than addressing objectively the details of this relationship, or even separating a report from a fact. Statistics are derived from data on specific incidence; specific incidence is not derived from statistical generalities.. That is Stats 101, day 1, lecture 1 stuff.

Dr. Curry seemed more knowledgeable and believable and Hughes is extremely biased and seems narcissistic herself. At one point telling JDs lawyer “I know I’m right “… 😣Her and amber are incredible similar.

I noticed that CourtTV seems to enjoy Dr. Hughes' testimony when no one else does. I also found out today that CourtTV's representative is sitting next to Amber Heard's new PR guy. Coincidence?

How can Dr. Hughes testimonies be considered credible and reliable if she is not even able to answer questions without her notes!!! Its not a memory test but knowing that you are to testify in court and be questioned about information you shoud know since you claim to be the expert on it just reflects her professionalism, Its like shes not that involved in the case for her to care to remember important details that she should know....its like her basically saying IM NOT SURE WITH MY ANSWERS if you are going to war you should be prepared. She has no excuse to be this sloppy and irresponsible.

On the contrary, miss Hughes is almost always at a loss of words, either busy being sassy or glaring at the jury or revising her so-called "facts" from off the papers...

I’m sad to say but I’ve been watching a few videos on this channel since the trial. I get the sense of amber-bias. Everyone has their opinion and nothing I can do about that BUT what hurts the most is that they give credibility to THIS psychologist who had shown GENDER BIAS, saying stuff as FACTS when they’re NOT and the behavior in court like getting annoyed. As a little girl to adulthood, I have witnessed more abuse men get in the hands of women, that’s why as an adult woman now I always listen to BOTH sides because I know from growing up that it’s not always women who get abused. :(

psychological testing...did that include an MMPI? Doesn't sound like it. You cannot make a diagnosis without it and it's no surprise she says AH doesn't suffer from 2 personality disorders. How could she know. Guys, this is a HUGE red flag. It's like saying - AH doesn't have diabetes because I asked her how much she weighs. No bloodwork, no metrics, but suddenly I can determine she isn't diabetic. If you don't take the actual tests you shouldn't speak on it, most people won't understand how a person is diagnosed.

Dr Hughes testified that AH engaged in "mild violence" against JD. So this "board certified" clinician classifies "violence resulting in the loss of a body part" as "mild violence" I'd love to know at what point, in the loss of body parts, in general, does the violence transition to moderate or severe..? So Is the violence-induced loss of an entire finger considered "moderate violence" and therefore, is the violent loss of the whole hand "severe"... Just so that we're all on the same page, moving forward..

Dr Shannon Curry made two important points in her testimony that strongly contrasts with Dr Dawn Hughes: 1) Dr Curry emphasized that she is a forensic psychologist and her role was limited to assessing AH but not determine whether IPV actually occurred between JD and AH. The occurrence of IPV, she noted, is something that an investigator would have to determine by interviewing witness and gathering evidence. Dr Hughes, on the other hand, concluded that IPV occurred based on speaking with only AH but not JD. This is unbelievably biased on the part of Dr Hughes. At times during her testimony, Dr Hughes went far beyond her “expert” role and repeated claims by AH that she would have no way of knowing. 2) Dr Curry emphasized that she is a FORENSIC psychologist and therefore her duty of care is to report the science behind her findings regardless of how it may impact the assessed client. She contrasted the role of a forensic psychologist to that of a traditional psychologist (like Dr Hughes) who will “advocate” on behalf of their client. In other words, a traditional psychologist will accept at face value the claims of their clients. At the end of the day, Dr Hughes came across as a highly unimpressive and biased expert witness.

I didn't like her. She had an attitude when she got interrupted and rolling her eyes. Why believe her over dr. Curry? Dr. Curry was way more professional then this clown.

Ambers doctor said so many things that wasn’t easy to follow. And not because it was filled with details only a professional would be able to understand, but because it just felt like she just kept talking about nothing in particular except for speculation. Dr Curry was VERY easy to follow, seemed very professional, specific with her details, and sounded like a professor I would definitely want in a class!

So it seems like Amber took note of what actual PTSD looks like and then somehow got her expert to relay that to the court. I’m interested to know during the rebuttal if Depps lawyers will ask Dr. Curry if Amber described any “smells” or “noises” or anything like that. I don’t remember when they said she evaluated her but I want to say it was the most recent evaluation done of her. If not, that would raise suspicion for why Dr. Hughes was so unable to remember dates. Granted, that’s not necessarily uncommon but I would argue convenient 🤷🏾‍♀️

The issue with the defense expert is there was hardly any objectivity in her testimony whereas the plaintiff's expert was objective and mainly used science and facts for her testimony. Two very different styles of testimony. Let's see how it unfolds....

Not a single psychologist can say that and be considered a professional. Well in France maybe US psychologist are allowed to make those kind of statements but a psychologist can only say that a patient suffer from a stress due to a traumatic event and explain what kind of psychological troubles the patient going through. And have to specify that the patient attribute his troubles to a specific cause, but that doesn't mean it's actually related. In fact even without his ex husband relationship she had multiple case of possible traumatic event and toxic relationship, meaning a possible transfer of previous trauma on her more recent relationship. So the traumatic event can be related to bad treatment of past troubles as it be to event to what she described. This kind of stress can also be related to what Dr Shannon talk about confronted to important stress of having face cognitive dissonance viewing her constructed world where her brain can comfortably process reality ( I don't know if cognitive dissonance is the correct way to phrase it sorry ). In fact this explications also fit if you are considering that Heard didn't have any kind of border line kind of trouble because that kind of psychologist troubles can strike everyone even without any kind of specific trouble. Her marriage was not as great as she expected, she confort herself in some others man arms, got confronted by her husband great jealousy while seeing him going down, knowing she's playing a part in his troubles, she feeling everything going out of her control not being able to get the support she thought she will get and afraid of being targeted by the huge fan community behind her husband so she build those traumatics event based on passed experience to put her brain at ease and to be able to deal with all the stressful she's going through. Thats one of the many interpretation you can get from what that doctor said about her patient. Your patient suffer from what looks like a trauma as a doctor you can say it's certainly because of what she described because it could be because of many others things too. When someone when to you talking about such horrible things your are of victims of biais because before being a doctor and an expert you are human that's why that psychologist going through her patient history only by her family and friends, and not by medical and psychological history would have make her testimony invalid in court in France with a good lawyer to point the problem because based on only the words of someone without any tangible proof or any condamnation ignoring every other previous specialist works. . . Everything here looks like a stupid show . . .

As a nurse I was shocked that Dr Hughes failed to fill in her forms appropriately ! She just left blanks and then tried to explain those blanks away ! As a medical health care professional she knows full well that her forms should of been completed … As the saying goes “Not documented, didn’t happen” This is a basic requirement - Completed and Concise notes is key when your evaluating PTSD or anything for that matter … ! And it’s also very telling that she completely discounted the nurses testimony along with the counsellor .. Two professionals who possibly new more about Miss Heard than most … So unprofessional !
