It always irritates me when she insists that Richard is not her father. I want to yell at her...really what do you think a father does? He's the only father she's ever had, and actually more her father than he is Maggie's.

@meowmix3141 That’s exactly my point. I'm a stepmother and I love my children as if they're my own. I've been with them for 25 years since they were 9 & 10. I would really like it if sometime before the show ends Mer would acknowledge how important Richard has been in her life. I think he's been more of a parent than Ellis ever was.
I saw the episodes of when Derek died etc while I was commuting to work, it was hard to hold back tears. I swear if I would rewatch it, I would cry my eyes out!
I miss Derek a lot mc dreamy I miss him I miss mark I miss them. Because she was dealing with a new baby her husband death and happened so suddenly after not being contacted about his death and one person can only take so much time to stay Culm suck so much feeling up she was really not talking in certain things like remember she had to take there kids to the hospital that night so I would have been a mess and she is basically not let her grief happen completely until Amelia start a discussion she is not ready to have
@@Muratzhangabayev974 She was sick and tired of Amelia constantly picking at her and Amelia acted like she was the only one hurting over Derek’s death. Mer also kept her feelings inside and once she exploded, the person who just happened to be there was Amelia who was in the crossfire.
I thought it was because Meredith paged Amelia for a consult and Amelia took her time to get there because it was Meredith and whole Meredith was waiting her patient attacked her ?
several reasons, for this particular episode, it was because amelia had a fight with mer & when mer paged neuro for consult, amelia refused to go to mer’s and instead chooses to assist owen as he also paged for neuro. and it was while waiting for the neuro consult that mer was attacked by a patient. so i guess she was angry because she needed someone to blame after being attacked, and she might’ve viewed it as if amelia stayed professional and answered her page, she wouldn’t have been attacked. but their relationship has been a mess prior to this day, with amelia being angry at mer for pulling the plug, blaming mer for derek’s death (thinking had mer called amelia, she could’ve saved derek), and amelia insinuating that mer put her in a situation where she hugged & was all friendly with penny without knowing penny “killed” derek, when all mer was trying to do that night was to keep it together herself and not freak out. amelia also had a fight with mer before derek’s death saying mer never had to claw her way back after losing the love of her life so they’ve been at odds. so she’s probably angry at amelia because she’s the “wrong shepherd”. because instead of having derek, she’s stuck with amelia, who in many ways, is a constant reminder of derek & everything she’s lost, but is not derek.

I almost stop watching when he died when Lexi died when Mark died when George died, but I will not be watching after this season I am tired of people leaving Alex left Izzy left Christina left Torres left and Arizona left now Meredith’s gone and so is her sister I’m done.
The show got so much better after Derek died. Merder was so boring, and it took up way too much screentime. He cheated on her, called her a bad mother and was a bad husband and father over and over. The grey's universe is a better place without Derek
