Do you have to be able to upload as SVG into glowforge to have the cut line or can you do it as jpeg? Not sure if I need to upgrade to the business edition
Yes, to cut you will need to save as SVG which requires the business edition. Swingdesign.com has the lowest price on the upgrade usually. Jpg files will only allow engraving.
Lady Crockett Crafts maybe one more question, (SORRY!) I have procreate and I think you said something about a PNG? Is that a way to be able to cut rather than a SVG?
@@saybklaus458 sorry just saw this! As far as I know PNG files cannot be cut in GF. My understanding is people using Procreate are importing those creations into Silhouette to then convert them to the SVG file type. I am looking into getting an iPad since I recently went PC instead of Mac for my laptop this time. So maybe in the future I will have more direct knowledge on that topic.
