I made a version of this build but instead of the buried bloodline I was using the wave frame arc ergo sum (the riskrunner version). Basically you do a normal dodge into enemies. Then slash with the ergo sum. The sword slash will elevate you slightly off the ground so you can instantly do an ascension. Now you're shooting lightning out of your body while dodging and ascending around, while also being highly resistant to arc and going invisible. The extra lightning damage from the sword ability really tops things off with the ascension AOE to make the higher health enemies go down fast. Also pairing the sword slashes with ascension as a one two combo really helps with the swords ammo economy to the point that I rarely had to stop using it. I did a 50 wave expert on it a few nights ago and could basically do whatever I wanted to throughout the entire onslaught. I was transcendent more often than I've ever been on any other prismatic build and the sword would extend it's duration. My other utility picks were duskfields / smokes and I could spam them both like crazy.

i managed to figure out a build like this on my own with infinite abilities with spirit of inmost light and literally stayed in the sky everywhere i went. the build is super fun just not safe for gm content
FYI: Amplify grants +50 mobility. At base it's 15second buff and if the build has close to 100% uptime (26 sec dodge cd w/100 mobility OR lower w/ cd reduction) you only need 50 mobility from armor. I've been working on a gifted conviction build specifically for GMs, I'll try to post after some more testing today.
My build idea is centered all around freezes and ignitions. Prismatic Hunter Golden Gun super Exotic weapon: Conditional Finality Primary: Anything with incandescent Heavy: BRIAR'S CONTEMPT (Harmonic resonance adds to Conditional Finality's handling) Exotic Armor: Renewal Grasps Duskfield Grenade (Duh) Melee: Withering blade Aspects: Gunpowder Gamble and Winter's shroud Fragments: Facet of Ruin, Purpose, Defiance, Courage, Protection, and Hope Helmet: Harmonic and Stasis siphons Gauntlets: 2x Firepower and a Grenade kickstart Chest: Resists or charged up Legs: Absolution, Recuperation, and innervation Cape: Reaper, Powerful attraction, Bomber Freeze things. Explode things. Explode frozen things.
Incase you didnt realise or dont know yet, ascension also gets damage buffs from the artifact sword perks like Argent Blade and also refunds sword ammo on multi kills with Sword Stamina, so running this with ergo sum (probably the arc conductor perk on a wave//caster frame) would be very nice.
Ascension should proc class ability related mods/etc. It would be cool if your helicopter was able to reflect damage back. It should have 2 parts with a blinding slam attack. Since they buffed radiant dance machines, they either need to have a set amount of time before being able to reactivate mods, slow dodge, or threaded specter; or it needs to reset on kill.
I wish Ascension actually worked with class ability mods. Powerful attraction, reaper, and the other class ability based mods are useless with a build around Ascension. Which sucks.
I know not everyone likes it but, if you can deal with the downside of gunpowder gamble getting in the way of using the grapple sometimes, which is gonna happen even more in this build, you can swap stylish for that so you have a mini nuke. With the amount of shurikens and dodging happening you will have that nuke almost always. Sidenote, ascension is excellent for moving through some of the jumping areas in dungeons and raids because of how high it brings you, it's almost like having the ahamkara boots for a 4th jump
If I’m building into Ascension I really have a hard time taking off Gifted Conviction. I feel like this is a more niche build personally. Looks like a fun build for lower end content though.
Gifted Conviction is really good especially in low to mid level content so it doesn’t need much of a buff. That said where it suffers for me is that there is no arc synergy at work you can tie into to extend or otherwise take advantage of. Combine that with the fact that volt is still one of the best perks for ad clear so its still a little rare leaves me wishing I had other ways to tie it into a build. In act two we’ll be able to get the 2 burst pulse with eddy current + voltshot and if I’m lucky I might get the raid bow with voltshot, either one I think will be potentially solid options to slot in to a gifted conviction prismatic build. Not that I think we’ll get one, but I would potentially like to see the buff from the armor tied to amplify (like galvanic armor) so you can keep it extended. That or at least ease up on restrictions for Ascension so it works with Powerful Attraction, Dynamo, Reaper, Slice, and Permeability.
I do the Gunpowder gamble so the attack chopper is equipt with bombs to drop too lol. Also, instead of bloodline anything with repulsor brace will give you shield with volitile
I have a very simular build ive been using, but the exotic weapon is final warning. Im pretty much always invisible and constantly going invisible with my attack helicopter spins, my final warning shots, my joltikg indebted kindness shots, my melees, and grapples. Its crazy fun
My build is Pris Warlock with Spirit of the inmost and Spirit of Synothceps. Exotic weapon: Monte Carlo Aspects: Lightning Surge and Feed the void Facets: Purpose, Protection, Dawn, Grace, and Facet of Ruin Grenade: Coldsnap Melee: Arcane Needle Class ability: Phoniex Dive Helmet: Double Kinetic Siphon and Heavy ammo scout Arms: Double Firepower Chest: Double Melee damage resits Legs: Double invigoration and One Recuperation Class item: double outreach and one bommer Gameplay Loop: throw your coldsnap at a group of enemies. Do your slide Melee, shoot enemies with Monte Carlo, slide melee, throw grenade. Rinse and repeat till you can pop transcendence then just repeat the process.
Edits: 1. Changed exotic to khvostov for better orb generation and darkness transference energy 2. Changed last two facets to facet of balance and facet of courage

But just in case Artifact mods (necessary): Barrier pulse/overload Hand cannon/winning hand/overcharge armory/Creeping Chill(necessary)/ Void Hegemony(necessary)/expanding Abyss(necessary)/Shieldcrush(necessary) Becoming a unseen unkillable menace on the battlefield inflicting crippling debuffs upon everything in your sights, which is everything because you can see through walls😅

After taking a lunch break to watch this video, my new favorite loadout of all time is the Guardian Attack Helicopter: Witherhoard for landmines, Rocket Sidearm for the mini missiles, and Reconstruction Apex for heavy artillery. ascension for helicopter mode, rdm to keep helicopter mode going, and grapple to help move around the sky. voila. we have turned d2 into commando
Hey mac, fun fact: if syntho buff is active, every kill with threaded spike will create ignitions with calibans instead of only 1 per usage. I know u got the caliban syntho roll so i would heavily suggest trying threaded spike. Its nutty.
Regardless, this looks like an absolutely fun build. Combining helicopter with grapple grenade just looks like fun. I wish you spent more time without the devour weapon. I don’t have it and don’t see myself getting it anytime soon. Curious how well the survivability is without devour. You’ve touched upon it. But I would love to see it thoroughly tested. I guess I log into the game lol
This is my build i have used since i got ascension. This is so fun and turn the abiilty spam to a 15. If radiant dance machines ever come on hunter class item omg it will be so broken!
In case ppl dint know if you use ascension while grappling you will keep the momentum and go further quicker. Buried bloodline makes a dif sound when it while you have deviur.
id keep ruin when using the silence and squall, i do also rly hate that asencion doesnt proc your dodge reload or melee return. But damn tho all 3 crown debuffs, supurbe for onslaught, the unravel can help get extra procs of volitile which is strong enough to proc the jolt, which feeds back into more volitle and unravel dmg..sheeesh adding devour 110% boosts this build
try this build with a weapon that's got high ground also you can swap out the stasis melee for the strand melee to sever enemies for extra damage mitigation
They made Ensnaring Slam function as a class ability in order to have certain mods work as expected (ie: Reaper, Powerful Attraction, Dynamo, etc) back in update 7.1.0. Fingers crossed they do the same thing with Ascension. EDIT: Bungie, PLEASE MAKE THE NATURAL D20 EMOTE AN ACTUAL D20. WHY IS IT ONLY 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20??????? EDIT 2: Ascension is a great tool for generating Amplified on activation, but it also has an awesome side effect of enabling the Arc subclass "passive" where rapid arc kills from any source also trigger Amplified. I've been comboing this with Indebted Kindness to keep Amplified up as often as possible and using my dodge as I normally would (you could even drop your mobility down to 50 with this setup, since Amplified gives +50), while saving Ascension for jolting or movement tech.
I rather enjoy this exact build, except I use Manticore. Not as strong as the bloodline but it just fits the style, ascension puts you in perfect position for hover gun
I have a liar's Handshake build I like using with ofc combination blow but for aspects I use threaded specter and stylish executioner so be the end of any fight there is at least 4 decoys which is funny because I STILL GET TARGETED BY EVERYTHING still fun though.

As a returning guardian, I’m wondering which build be the best for raids, like I understand this build is insane for add clear and champions, but what about boss damage. Cos switching to nighthawk, still hunt, wouldn’t it reset your super cooldown? Or do I just use this build, with a good heavy weapon for boss damage.
Imo gunpowder gamble is the better match with ascension bc the jolts will get you the grenade very fast and this build isn’t for content that you need to be invisible in
They really need to add hud options. I wanna see debuffs and cooldowns on right side and buffs on left side. Also allow us to see everything not just 4 lines at a time.

🔥😂 TRY CALIBAN / COYOTE Class item with Arc Punch, Helicopter and freeze dodge... In this case you can spam your helicopter over and over and get up on high platforms with double it it's so fun and fast... No liar needed
Personally, I'm much more likely to use a build that's fun over a build that'll specifically do well in a GM. If I only used builds and weapons for GM-level activities, my vault would be empty. Ima build this and tweak some things, like maybe switch stylish exec for gunpowder and spam the hell out of those ignitions. With a discord shotgun.
Ascension shouldn't trigger your regular dodge effects, but the fact that it doesn't work with mods or exotics is sad. It doesn't even work with 2 of prismatic aspect.
Hear me out : You go invisible but you also come out of invisibility the second you do an attack so can you swap for the dodge that slows and use that instead. Dodge near an enemy, dodge again to freeze them, ascension to shatter and jolt, ascension in the air to get hight, grapple melee back down to the ground, throw tangle, rinse repeat. Also kudos to those that have run rdm simply to proc dance time and helicopter to the edge of the map while platforming. If you had a scout you could literally stay in the sky permanently at the top by killing enemies to refresh the timer and that sounds great

Sorry, but the attack helicopter build is Solar Warlock with Heat Rises and the Heir Apparent machine gun. You don't "get to the choppa," you ARE the choppa!
