The helmet is big because it's scaled to their heads, it's smaller in game because it replaces the head, not over it

It’s not necessary replacing the head, but picture StarLords mask. It more or less morphs to the head. If they wanted to do it like that and get the more accurate size it would have to be hand molded to the individual and then cut like a clam shell.

David Conant Well Weta has a reputation for a reason and they charge for it, Bungie took a bit of a risk having Corridor build the suit but they have experience with building somewhat similar if on a smaller scale projects. Also Corridor would have a better vision of how they would need to build it because they are going to be shooting the video.

im a huge fan of destiny (yeah the games suck in some places) but its the universe its all in that makes it feel awesome. I hope corridor can do some crazy awesome stuff with it!

The universe is really interesting, but they just don't utilize that. They use the exact same formula over and over and over again (shoot bad guys, get loot, shoot bad guys, get loot, run around, get loot, etc., etc.), which is a shame, since the Destiny 1 could have been groundbreaking, and Destiny 2 could have been an actual improvement, instead of being, well, the exact same thing.

i think destiny 2 kind of fell down below destiny 1 though. bungie keeps useing the most "Cost effective" stuff possible... which is sad. but the 1 great thing about the game, is the LORE.

You got to give it to Bungie, they're awesome at building the universe. I feel they just need to add something to Destiny that doesn't make it go stale so quickly. I've played a lot of mmos and it feels like destiny in my opinion just gets to the end game grind too quickly.

I always thought that some of the game mechanics and the way the DLC was set up was horrible, but I always loved the colors of the costumes, and the amount of work they spent in the environment and armor.

In the games the helmets are scaled to be the same size as the character's head basically but in real life you need to have breathing room and padding which will inevitably make it slightly bigger

I completely agree that it's not as bad as if it was inside but it can still do a lot of damage still when outside as the toxins can get to you, just a bit worried I did a fair bit of research and there have been numerous occasions of people collapsing while spray painting outside

that's battlefield games shouldn't be battlefield games because they make a different time zone different area... destiny 2 is literally an expansion from destiny 1 but put into a seperate game.

Nah, they backed out of the deal because Bungie kept denying their proposals and they were unable to find a middle ground. I believe they mentioned it in the "5 Mistakes You Need to Make to Get 1 Billion Views " video, not completely sure tho.

MattyMayhem 117 that’s because in the game they don’t need to worry about how the people inside will fit or if it’s comfortable/padded. The prop is a lil bit oversized, but not too much by realistic standards

Arctic Fox is right, about you looking for game accurate (aesthetic) and not real life accurate (again, we agree it is still a bit oversized). Also "they're gunna wear for 15 minutes for a video"... I had to check to make sure you were not subscribed to Corridor. Cause if you were, you would have a perception of the time scale of a film shoot. I don't mean that to be rude. However, whoever wears this helmet will wear it for hours consecutively or non-consecutively. I say that confidently not knowing if this is a 5 minute short film or a 20 minute short film.

Weathering has to be one of my favorite parts. It adds this dimension. I don't just mean visually but story too. Like I try to add scratches and dents that make sense and add a little back story to my pieces.

Not technically the right armor for the reference pictures but I believe that fwc gear was a reskin from exodus down so works either way. Great work. Looked amazing.
