This video is a sort of pre-video for my next video talking about the police system in Detective Conan. By the way in this episode, there is a big plot hole, and I welcome all the Detective Conan fans to try and guess what this plot hole is.

Matsuda-san is my favourite dead character.

This was a really good take on Sato's previous partner. The author also set up Matsuda like a real life person too! In real life, as long as your are attractive (man or woman) you can start over and be successful anywhere (going from bad person to good person)! If you are not attractive it is very difficult for you to be successful when "switching sides".

It is funny how I find Conan less charismatic when he turns back to Shinichi since he will become less mature around Ran. DC will become another Boruto if the story shifts the focus from Conan to Shinichi. There are many charming adult characters such as Akai, Amuro or Gin, so Conan cannot really stand out from them with the adult form. Are you planning to do Rei Furuya next? I thought his appearance in this video was foreshadowing your next video, lol.

Matsuda is one of the fandoms favourite dead dude man

The problem with moving the story beyond six month is it will bring up certain elements in the story reserved for very specific purposes. For example, we have had A BILLION birthday parties in the story, but never one for Ran. Why is that? Because it was decided very early on, her birthday case will be a very special one. This became a cap for the story progression. Ran is 17 in the story, if more than 6 months passes, her 18th birthday will come, and the birthday case would need to happen. But we know nothing about the birthday case and what it contains. If it has stuff that can only happen after some other stuff, then it is going to be even more incongruent in this case. Moreover, we knew a time when the story progressed a lot faster: Desperate Revival and the surrounding cases. So I don't think it is Aoyama's decision to milk the series because he can clearly ramp up the speed if he wanted to. However, manga is NEVER created by one person. The amount of power the editors and the publishers have is IMMENSE. Shogakukan needs this series to float itself and that is the biggest reason why the series never progresses that much. However, the length of the series has become the butt of the joke theses day and I don't think Shogakukan is oblivious to that. So since 2014, they have started to explore other money-making channels with the franchise. For example: spin-offs. Or focusing on the theatrical films. Both have been fairly successful commercially, suggesting the series can carry on even if the main story ends. I think this is what Shogakukan really wants, an IP that keeps on showering them with cash after Aoyama passes away. Prediction: the main series will end in 2034ish, but the franchise will continue to 2054ish.

Yes I agree with you..as long as the character is popular and handsome, they'll be the good guy...that's sad tho..I lowkey want amuro to be a smart bad character in Conan since there are more intelligent good guys than the bad ones making BO less scary than the older episodes

I was kind of pissed that Conan could diffuse the bomb and protect another place whereas two *experts* could not. I like it when some specific skills are left for pros instead of Conan (like Sniping for Akai, the ability to act multiple faces for Amuro etc.)

Anime is that show in which even though we know the main characters cannot die early, we still forget this fact and are scared when watching episodes. Like the old blue castle investigation case.

Sometimes, I wanna ask Gosho why dead characters have to be this handsome and charismatic. For me, Shinichi cannot beat him😭😭😭😭

Sometimes I wonder that even though Detective Conan is good, there are some things in it which obviously don't make any sense and almost everyone knows it. I think that maybe Gosho Aoyama is planning something big for the end of the show where all of these question(might be) answered.
