@mayhulk7514 It will bro long as you stick at it and remember to focus on it specifically in training and repeatedly for as long as needed. And it should help heaps too. I think this videos great advice. I remember I didn't really notice I was doing that (like leaning forward too much and too tall in my stance etc) for ages til I started recording myself training and sparring more and watching it back for technique (ok mostly for technique, maybe some vanity haha) nor my coaches or anyone said anything... but then focused on doing it right and it took while but made a big difference. Felt a lot more natural and smooth fast and solid etc. I still try to focus on it specifically fairly regularly or if I feel it's starting to slip. I'm not what you might call a pure boxer though or competitive sports boxer or whatever. I mean I have more a background and focus in muay thai and in grappling or mma type stuff which mt commands a higher heavier stance and the latter bit lower (or none, on the ground haha) but anyway... I'm sick of typing so

Man, I'm a complete beginner and was looking for the most basic of tutorials on RU-vid, like "how to jab". I was watching a couple of videos and always felt like I learned nothing. But now I finally felt like I've learned something. The 'lower your hip' thing, the 'drop into the jab' thing, the 'close your eyes and feel the movements' thing, THAT actually got me on the right track here. I can feel the logic of these movements because my jab is getting more force now. Finally I got something to practice that makes sense. I'll watch more of your videos, thank you!

Hey Coach, I started to use a reflex ball and use it to be aware of how my stance is like I’m concentrating on being in a proper stance and make turns and move sideways and so on. Additionally, I put the hand I’m not punching with to my chin, just to develop it as a „natural movement“ so I don’t have to think about the execution of it. After two weeks I can say that it’s really hard to stay in the stance, after a short time I go up and I don’t bend my knees or I lean forward. When I adjust it while punching the reflex ball, I miss it and depending on where it hits you it’s a good reminder to stay focused.
@PrecisionBoxing

No doubt when hitting these you start to become aware of a number of factors, its good to bring that self awareness to your boxing!

This is good coaching...most guys on YT don't coach stance correctly, this guy does...if you're stance and footwork suck your boxing will suck. I've seen guys who have been boxing for years whose stances suck. I feel bad for them because they've created bad habits that will take a long time to break. Learn the basics before you go any further. Once you do boxing becomes a LOT easier.

The hips ability to rotate is huge. Hes 100 percent. Too many lads dont use their leverage. Dropping the weight a bit helps your hips to rotate and thus you gwt more leverage and your range is better also, i believe 🙂
