Lucas has a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy with a master's degree and PhD in Cellular and Structural Biology. He spoke about his research focus on the development of multifunctional materials to aid bone regeneration and kill cancer cells, and of cancer-killing bone grafts for osteosarcoma treatment.
