@@dredgengam4610 Well for me personally I beat Devil May Cry on Dante Must Die mode recently like maybe a week ago and almost beat everyone without using an item. Only used 2 holy water on the last phase of nightmare in the 3rd fight because I had a sliver of health and couldn't be bothered. I think the last phase of nightmare in the 3rd fight. The part where his core turns red and he just fires lasers. I think that part might be the hardest thing in the game ONLY because that section is at the very end of the fight and you may or may not have much health to deal with it. But honestly, overall Mundus is WAY WAY WAY HARDER its just the last part of nightmare that is really bad. Like if Mundus didn't give you that red dragon on occasion to heal you oh my god Mundus would have been easily the hardest boss out of everyone in the game by a massive amount.
And what is worse is that you need to be careful when it comes to hitting the cores cause they carry over to the next fight. Cause if the cores are red by the time you get to nightmare 3 you will be BARELY damage him so at that you better had just start over to do the fights over again.
@@DrSanto91 for some reason, I used charged Ifrit attacks on the first two bosses, on the third boss, the top core was still blue, but would break 1 tier per hit, so in 3 hits, it was red..... I think my game was bugged, I was on PS4 HD collection.
One of the most hardest bosses I have ever fought. I swear, I haven't even touched DMC1 for nearly 8 months because of this guy. I wouldn't have beaten the game if I hadn't come back to finish him of for good.
I love nightmare. I think he's a fun idea once you get used to him. Sighh why is it in techno there's always that one bit if you removed it'd be perfect.
It's more like hardcore/big beat. The matrix and the prodigy were really popular at the time and you can tell it influenced a lot of design elements on DMC
