i don't get why Ryan can't have fun or show determination. Devon still put up a show and tried vs Levan when he was getting smoked. wish Ryan would show more passion.
Worst part is that Ryan is president of the Canadian aw federation or w/e its called so he knows he'll have a big say in how its handled. He couldn't just take his losses with dignity.
So this guy calls out Devon, gets SMOKED, and uses his authority in the league to try and get Devon banned ? I’ve never seen someone get mentally crushed that bad 😂😂😂.
The funny thing is Devon wasn't even being a dick he was calm didn't make fun of him was just honest it shouldn't be on Devon that he's just on such a higher level. Abuse? Give me a break.
@@maxpierce1529 There's abuse alright! Abuse of one's position and power to file an unjust and ridiculous complaint. Saw the podcast - Devon took his soul there too.
@@maxpierce1529 He was definitely being a dick. He intentionally lost just to get in the losers bracket and get Ryan out of the tournament. Whether that is ok in this context is what is being debated over, not whether or not he was being a dick.
@@olivergreer3690 oh I didn't know that I didn't watch the event so none of that was in the video I watched the video I watched just showed that one of them was obviously light years ahead of the other.
@@josceola8979imagine saying stuff that has absolutely no evidence to back up or show that it happened SIMPLY because you don't like somebody. You do realise that you saying this and meaning it doesn't make it actually true. It didn't happen. Maybe in your dreams. But devon takes his losses just fine. No amount of you crying on the Internet and fabricating stories will change that. You're cut from the same cloth ryan was.
It was the best part. I am actually like him. Very very talented at psychological domination. It's all in the wording and attitude. I have lots of respect for the ones that don't falls for my BS. Because yes, it doesn't have any importance. It's just an easy way to have an egde over weak minded opponents. I usually don't initiate. If you are cool, I won't play mindtricks. This Ryan guy, I can tell you, he is the perfect target. I cringe just watching him trying to look like the better man.
@@idrinkmilk282 Except I was specifically speaking about mind games. Basically trolling. It has nothing to do with behing tough. Genius Now, you tell me. Are you one of those people like Ryan. Because you sure look like one. That is the beauty of my wording. My first comment triggered you. You couldn't help yourself, your ego was threatened by "some internet tough guy". You didn't even heard how I talk.(its another level of art) Go on and make my day. Please
I love the ref who was literally smirking and laughing every time that Devon would say something to Ryan. Hilarious match. Ryan got his ego broken within the first round.
For people who think Devon is mean, this Espy guy has been talking shit about Devon for years publicly, and after he lost this match he went crying for the ethics committee -which he is a part of- to charge Devon with abuse
@@nooblessnoobsterI know right!! He had such a weird awkward demeanor. He was expecting to be the big dog in that event and when he wasn’t his fragile ego couldn’t take it. In the last round he told Devon he never wants to see him again 😂 what a looser lol
How is this legal? Can some one explain to me how he can be a part of the board and also be able to bend the rules to ur benifit like grow up stops crying about bullying when the fact is you were bullying Devon for years! Be a man
This is the most calm and polite I’ve ever seen Devon in a match. He knew he was in a completely different league and I thought he was actually quite respectful lol. The fact that Ryan made the complaint is an embarrassment that he should be ashamed of. Bro, you picked on the biggest and baddest. Challenging Devon is one situation where you really need to know your place otherwise you’re gonna end up in way over your head.
"I feel so strong. I don't even train my left arm. Wait til' you feel my right. You're gunna lose it. You're gunna lose your mind. You're gunna be like, what the fuck is that?" 😂🤣😂
Just watched devons "Charged with abuse" video and wow.... Ryan man... if this is what upset you, you haven't really lived. This is no type of abuse, just domination
Devon dropped trow and mooned espys family and pulled and gaped his butthole several inches. Espy was with his family. Children and all and Devon pulled that shit. ( almost literally )
@@AminaAmina-xq4bbdevon is doing it because he has to do it unless he wants to get banned Cry-Baby went to the ethics committee.. and from all the other arm wrestlers I've talked to everybody is against that and nobody backs Ryan up.. Devon is being the bigger man .. plain and simple...
Losing the match to Devon is not embarassing. He is an all-time great and you wanted to test yourself. Bravo. Your conduct afterwards, Mr. Espey, is a different story.
@@EddieJarnowski this whole thing just shows that the agenda for social changes in Canada are being implemented in every form and every level. We need men like Devon.
@@Wopko getting in trouble because you trash talked a guy while you were ARM WRESTLING HIM! LOL. can't make this stuff up. So we're just supposed to be all polite and be like, oh well i don't really want to win so i'll let you win good sir. Oh no you go ahead we are all winners right? Yes. So why are we even arm wrestling in the first place? Lets make a friendly match where you win one and i win one. Ok great idea. So that means we won't go home cryin to mommy. Lol pathetic
@@bobopaleo I think we need to ask ourselves what "bad" sportsmanship actually is. IMO it's being a sore loser, a boastful winner and a cheater(ambiguous). Me reading the room in the videos its obvious that Ryan doesn't like Devon. But underneath his annoyance is a subtle hint of fear. Its obvious to me that this is a long seeded feud for at least Ryan. Deep disdain perhaps; I'm not sure. So what's worse sportsmanship? Because I would argue that being a sore loser and getting an ethics committee involved isn't good sportsmanship necessarily.
Ryan always looks like a big sad bear who has just arrived back at his cave to find his honey has been stolen but he’s putting on a brave face and trying to smile through it.
Did anyone notice the smirk ryan had on his face. It was like he was thinking "you just wait devon your getting banned"....this was all planned to take devon down.(my opinion)🤔
Ryan looks like a cop who's gonna give you a ticket anyway even though all your credentials checked out and you've proven him wrong. The look on his face when he's trying so hard not to look at the demon in front of him.
This is the most brutal demolition of an ego I’ve seen in arm wrestling. Especially at 8:40.. Espey tried to catch Devon off guard but got laughed in the face
So, Devon absolutely crushed the guy like a boot to an ant, and he decided to press charges for abuse? What is he, 5? That's a very sore loser right there, and losing to a legend such as Larratt is no shame at all (man is a beast).
God bless Devon, how many tables did Ryan sit at for hours after major events armwrestling anyone and everyone to promote the sport? Devon is the best ambassador we have.
@@federalagent7334 - Yeah, me too!... In a way after losing to Genadi he turned into more of a monster. But watching that Genadi match, Devon actually could have as easily won that match. He was called for an elbow foul that wasn't an actual foul. It was such a joke.
Devon is hilariously strong and makes the whole sport worth watching! He’s the Ali of arm wrestling. I wasn’t interested in the sport until I stumbled across a you tube of him performing. Now I watch him often. If they penalize him they deserve to lose a significant audience. You go Devon ! You back your talk brother. Screw them ! 💪🏽👊🖕
I'd never heard of Ryan Espey before this... and now I know why. No shame at all in being beaten by Devon, but if you pulling him you'd recognise the skills and just have fun out there. He was clearly taking it all very personally and making a complaint afterwards is just ridiculous.
When I was a kid a fellow student lent me his crayons. A few minutes later he came with the teacher crying saying I stole them and that he never lend them to me. Reminds me of Ryan
@@ShadowGaming26548 Aka different humans. If other people could just go to 400 pounds, they would. People are already willing to sacrifice their health with steroids, etc..
@@XENOX-777 other people realize Levan willl be dead in max 10 years, look at him a couple years ago, compared to now, his organs are bloated, and ready to say adios any day, what is it like 100+ lbs of pure growth hormones lmaoooo
@@gordonlove5121 I think the truth is that nearly all of them want to be the absolute best, and that's kind of why I ignored weight classes. They train hard for decades, take steroids, etc.. and if it was just as simple as getting fat to get more power, then they would, but it's not that easy. The way I see "different humans" isn't just a skill level thing, it's also a genetic thing. If Devin could go to 400 pounds comfortably and beat everyone, then he would have. People are born differently, and that's the way I see "different humans".
Fighting nobodies after getting humbled by Europeans like people have been saying he would be. Devon made a career out of dodging matches and cheatingg
Devin is handing out free fuel to anyone's fire. It's all about how you choose to perceive his words and ultimately whether you have the ability to use this fuel against him or yourself, most of his opponents unknowingly choose the latter being blinded by their own emotions. For Ryan to do what he did to Devin though tells me he took the bait and chose to handle it like a child who has more of the mothers affection than his brother does.
Devon confronted a guy that was talking shit. Devon layed down to everyone else at this competition and did not win. He made his point and spared everyone else.
@@mythicalbeast953 He knows he can beat everyone there. He came to watch his kids pull and enjoy the show. When he saw opportunity to smash Ryan after all those year of shit talking and spreading lies he entered the competition just to knock him out. 🤣
Honestly. I don’t see how Ryan thought this was going to go down well for him. He single handedly destroyed his own reputation by doing something like this. No arm wrestler or crowd will ever look at him the same way.
Total humiliation. 😆 Devon is a beast. Yes, he acts cocky, but he does so in a fun, lighthearted kind of way, not in a maliciously arrogant way. It makes even these lopsided matches highly entertaining.
In actual matches he acts like a complete asshole. Arguing endlessly with refs, insulting his opponents, rubbing it in when he gets a pin. But then when he faces Levan or Denis he suddenly goes quiet and walks around rubbing his arm.
This is what it looks like when you are convinced that you eat, sleep, breathe, and bleed armwrestling...but then you meet the guy who ACTUALLY eats, sleeps, breathes, and bleeds armwrestling...
@@arhamshoaib4324who cares. No one can beat him. Why do people always go to that. Such a stupid argument. Plus he said evolving towards, not that he is immovable now... pay attention son.
Its incredible when you see a top professional beat another top professional like he was an amateur from the street. It really shows the gulf of space between their strengths in arm wrestling
Devon absolutely CRUSHED Espey. Really made a statement. Don't talk shit on message boards and comments unless you can actually back it up. Seeing Devon this active is amazing, no other arm wrestler is doing this currently, they just worried about pulling at top cycle twice a year.
@@nicobr00 Man you must be dumb, name a puller who has pulled more in the last year against this competition. Since Levan he's pulled Prudnik, Sandris (left and right), Genadi, Mindaguas, Kristensen, Tsonev, Chafee and now Espey. Yeah and a bunch of people across the world during and between all these matches. Gtfo with that old narrative that he only pulls twice a year.
@@nicobr00 Yeah I don't know what you are talking about, pulling twice in two months is still more than most top level arm wrestlers who need 3-4 months for a match. Then you said before that he pulled once a year when I literally listed more than that which you just chose to ignore. Calling Espey a amateur has to be one of the most retarded things I've heard, he was wildly considered the number 2 left in NA after Cody Merit for a long time and gave tough matches to several top level guys. Now let's just put to bed your once a year nonsense, 2021 before Levan he had 4 super matches, 2020 nothing cuz of Covid obviously, 2019 he had 4 super matches, and so on each year he had 3-4 super matches against top level guys. Before you come in saying stupid stuff it really helps to have your facts straight otherwise you just come off looking like a dumb hater.
Knowing what Ryan did after this loss..makes it so much more satisfying ,watching his destruction . Absolutely bullshit whats happening with the " ethics committee " and it's so called president ,Ryan Espey , and how they treating Devon now .
Djokovic = MJ = Pelé = Ali = Brzenk = Karelin --> they are the best ever, they have results out of comfort zone Federer = Durant = Ronaldinho = Frazier = Larratt -->they are not the best in what they do, but they are super popular between the fans (less accomplishments, lower level of performance).
