Devon vs Prudnik Highlights East vs West Armwrestling Video Edited by @ARMWRESTLINGNEWZ East vs West armwrestling merch my-store-cb6923.creator-sprin... #armwrestling #eastvswest
@@kiddhartwell1312 had a slight bicep tear in his match against Levan. People in this comment section seem to see him using PEDs as a bad thing but you CANNOT compete at a high level in this sport without it. Idk why people care.
That’s what I always think about when I see or think of this match like Devon was everywhere putting on an absolute clinic, regardless of what he does later on this is the footage that should be shown to newcomers. This is arm wrestling 101 by Devon 👏🙌!
Otra joya de video que demuestra la habilidad que tiene devon, gran luchador y precursor de está disciplina ,es admirable lo que logra sobre todo su tenacidad y resistencia.Por más lucha de brazos para está leyenda aún vigente
Devon is master in hand control, he had always higher hand during the match, he was also stronger in angles. This was perfect manifestation of the skills. Under 115 kg Devon is untouchable...
I would not say untouchable. Ongarbaev for example would be not that easy, because he is also an endurance monster + one of the best technical armwrestlers. But he also has a bit more offensive power than Devon.
@@Da-iken Do you think Ongarbaev would 3-0 Prudnik? Prudnik was, you know, the champ before this. According to the "Armwresting Rankings by Experts", Devon and Prudnik are 6 and 7. Ongarbaev is not in the top 15. For a guy who is a stronger version of Devon, he sure seems to not have better results. A relatively recent set of matchups, Larratt *easily* 6-0'd Brzenk. Ongarbaev won 3-1 after Brzenk kinda fucked around in the second round.
@@cwolf208 Brzenk was stronger vs Ongarbaev. U can't compare it. Also against Prudnik it could end different. Ongarbaev is underrated. He got a match vs Levan for a good reason. And Ongarbaev be completely different for Devon. You have to look for person vs person. Other matches don't tell the complete story.
Once Devon gets you in that hook/press and gets his shoulder behind it, it's over. There's absolutely nothing you can do to recover from this position. 💪
@Broz Joszip Devon never got Levan in that position, what match did you watch?? Devon never even got Levan past center lol, he got blown thru 6 times in a row.
Huge difference Devon only had two weeks notice against Prudnik who had 5 months of preparation. Against sandris Devon was well prepared & completely in he's form
@@mirkomarjanovic3234 Devon isn't a weight lifting guy .. he just prepares fundamental training before 2-3 months of he's matches hence he's weight is unstable.
@@TavsWorld Google what an athlete is "a person who is proficient in sports and other forms of physical exercise." pretty sure arm wrestling is physical
@@TavsWorld your a 🤡 for even making a statement like that. I guess to you athletic is sitting behind your keyboard on YT eating cheetos and masterbating
He did that in a match years ago. He said it right before the match. Breznk is the most successful arm wrestler ever and other than pull ups and push ups.. John mostly has only ever arm wrestled to train for competition.
@@nighthawk0077 No it's not. Not even close. Daily strength training is the worst kind of strength training. Proper peaking takes months of selective overload and recovery, with weeks or even months of recovery in between max effort days.
A lot of people hate on Devon now, and scream "Levan!!!!" from their parent's basement. Devon's contribution to the sport is second only to Brzenk, but maybe not even second to him. Perhaps it's Brzenk in #2 spot. Devon has been at it for nearly 25 years. That can't be ignored.
During the Covid bull is when I got back into watching armwrestling. Larett vs Todd. Epic match git me HOOKED no pun intended. January I'll be heading to LA Convention center to so my first live matches. I'm so pumped about this opportunity. I remember back when I first saw the sport. Wild World of Sports. Anyone else?
@@DoctorStrange01 wanna put it in nationalistic way? Alright my nazi friend i clarify it to you. I just don't like when people in sport behave like animals. don't care about their nationality
@@DoctorStrange01 what a duscussion with nazi can be? I said, that i don't like how Devon Larrat behave. And you said that you hate all Russians. It means that you divide people on their nationality. I belive that every nation has a great people and every nation has a scum. You are scum not because you are American, England, Australian or however nation you have. You are scum, because your brain stinks of nazi-ideas.
@@DoctorStrange01 . I explain you. I don't care what Larrat nationality is. I'm just said that behaveior of exact person i don't like. Then YOU said, that its because i'm Russian. Where did you see anti-western propaganda? Did i say that Larrat behave as he behave because he is Canadian? Then you write about "abstract" Russians witch have no empathy or something. And conclusion of this diolog: you hate NATION. got it? You have a rotten steriotypes of nation witch you retranslate. And i retranslated my relation to behavior of exact person. Without "Putin", "Obama", "Biden". In my words nothing connected with politics, nation or something.
These people that think Jody larret is annoying have clearly never watched many of Devin's matches Jodi larret is always a crazy in the background this is nothing new
@@tengouniformcharliekilo1941 Shouting is annoying (mind game or not). And both you and I know that Devon is capable of doing mind games without shouting
He is the man..I know Devon personally and grew up in the same town attending same high school. I watched him grow all these years and now look. Super Heavy Weight Champion of the world!!! 💪👍🥇
if you watch closely in 0.25x speed. First pull was a foul by prudnik. He pulled before the referee said go, that's why devon seemed to be in a trouble.
Not really, it was a really good start by Evgeny. Devon just slow with the start as usual. I watched it at 0.25x as you mentioned. Most matches never perfectly start at the right time... but it's very close usually. In this case, while Evgeny did start earlier than Devon, its definitely not a false start.
@@sahildhingla but you mean you can go before go? Exactly what prudnyk did. Prudnyk did that before referee say go. You mean thats okay? Look in slowmotion. You can see devon wasnt ready.
I think a potential kink in Devon's armor is his weakness to finish. His whole deal is to make you tired, and then you will either quit or he can pin you from there. As you can see in the later rounds Prudnik actually put up a better fight playing defensive.
Prudnik worked according to the Pushkar method and fight only in explosion tactic, tactic, that is useless against Devon. Now, in single duels, the method "do not score a hand for the next opponent" is long outdated, but most of us teach it. Old coaches, there are no new ones, and athletes hardly fantasize and don't come up with new tactics by themselves. Well, and war in the country also means a lot.
Devon is extremely weak to quick bursts. He loves long and grinding matches, that's why the hand is so important to the dude. If you get his hand, he's a goner.
Larratt look dominant like he is in his training sessions beating 25 guys in row in a bar or a garage . He look fantastic and he want to fight . Love it
