I think Act 2 and 3 were my favorites. Just the mood and music in those places really set them apart from the rest. Diablo 2 was, hands down, the best old timey game i ever played.
This is not only a fine game (which I still play) but an extraordinary piece of music with strengths and subtleties rarely found in gaming music, or elsewhere for that matter.

The atmosphere, logic, and brilliance make it the best game ever, even if there are more fun, solidarity, or evaluated games. It's pretty pathetic that I begin to become very sad when I hear Diablo 2 music. The memories begin to flood back like crazy, and it leaves me with a sad feeling of nostalgia. Sometimes I actually want to cry because I MISS THESE TIMES. And I'm sorry, but Diablo 3 will not be the same :(. Diablo 2 was just so unique...ugh. I could write a book.
@Chease69 Save games don't save to the CD, they save to the computer (If singleplayer) or to the battle.net servers (if multiplayer). You wouldn't have a character from 5 years ago save this long. Even with the fairly new introduction of being able to restore a character that expired and deleted, one from 5 years ago wouldn't have been saved. Don't lie about Diablo.
I remember when i would go randomly around the desert and make every single creature follow me. XD I killed them all with my huricane! and my fire claws which delt 10k
