Thank you Your Holiness, I truly enjoyed being with you in Japan! It seems the unifying principle of the light as has been discovered in science and as is shown in the experiences of the Buddha and the Christ and other mystics of many religions so is also a unifying principle in spirituality 🙏 So I was overjoyed that the great teachers alive today like the Dalai Lama teach the Light of the World Teachings through the Clear Light in Tibetan Buddhism’s case to help deepen our awareness and awakening
We have a good deal of work ahead of us, if we're afforded the opportunity. Human nature may be more compassionate, but throughout the centuries, those with the most power and influence, the most resources, have worked hard to limit compassion and depth of democracy. So far, they've done a great job of achieving their goals and creating complacency based on fear in the masses. What do we do? All I know is: without conditions, begin with the person on your right, and the person on your left. No picking and choosing. The results take care of the bigger picture.
around 56:00, I think what His Holiness is trying to explain about the atma, which is a Hindu term for the eternal life essence which was never born and never dies, is more apparent at the point of death of the human/body consciousness, without referencing future devolvement of the individual consciousness, which depends upon the level of development of the person. The Christian termonology is" "The gift of God is eternal life" to quote the Bible. In other words, we all already have this eternal life but a higher degree of development is aware of it and can live in it, assimilate it's qualities of consciousness.
Buddhists believe rather in anaatma, no self philosophy, aatma or spirit self of the Hindu philosophy still has a self after death, while consciousness is much more complex as no self no ego philosophy comes into play.

Nevertheless thank you very much for the Statement made for the plant . Plants are not alive . I had much difficulties convincing majority of the population here. The answer now very clear . No neurological system and no brain determined that plants not alive. My understanding since , had been that the seed were *made. (*In conjunction with the 4 elements ) As the requisition of the mind that transfer the energy on to the water that expanded the seed dued to the heat from ambience hence induced the reaction to intake of physical means from earth and the release of gases in the result of growth of a vegetation. Our body worked the same in *theory but we had feel and mind that bonded to abundant of possible seedings towards just as what the Buddha from time to time doing the best for all sentient beings. Abilities always with liabilities When most of we can't comprehend.
Interesting how we allow for changing definitions to fit theories or goals in science, but religion/philosophy/mental experiments are not allowed the same. Science, in other words, seems to expect to have to redefine continuously but we hold consciousness to a different standard to the point where it is ignored as an equal potential.
