TV One released “The Bobby DeBarge Story” back in 2019.

Man!! I don't know if I would want to see that one. Viewers are going to need several boxes of kleenex when watching that one, because they will be crying more then once. I have read about DeBarges traumatic and tragic upbringing and I have listened to podcasts about it. Maaaaaaaan!!! Everytime I hear about it, I gotta pause it or stop for awhile and give myself a break because its just so much. With the DeBarge story, you cant sugar nothing to get the full impact about their traumatic childhood and adulthood. At the same time, there is so much graphic shit that I don't believe can be allowed on screen. Spousal abuse, child abuse, rape, pedophilia, incest, and violence related to it.
